I have a Tamagotchi Plus with that pattern. Considering that the seller is listed as being in Japan, I imagine it's an authentic one.

If I remember correctly, the 'Clover' you speak of from Tama Zone was a concept (not a shell design) for a Tamagotchi created by a member there. It didn't get made (although it would have been really cool to see something like this out in stores) because Bandai doesn't accept fan ideas. The one in the picture you provided merely has a clover on the shell, to which the seller is making a reference in the title. It's kind of like when other sellers list their Tamagotchi's shell designs in auction titles to describe it a little more for buyers. Anyway, as binary said, this person is from Japan and has great feedback, so I doubt they would try to pass along a fake.
