kuromametchi figure not registering right

for some reason,the kuromametchi figure I bought is registering as the figure that comes with my 2nd wave tama-go.But my mametchi (1st wave) and itchigotchi figures are working right!This has happened before with my other figures but not every time i slide in that figure! I know it's not my tama-go because I tried it in both of my tama-gos!The same thing happened. What is going on???

My Ponytchi did that... I'm sure it still does. It registered once but I don't know what I did. I never retarted/downloaded... I tried it once and it didn't work...Multiple ways. Tried it again later... It worked and I didn't check what I did. I just know it registered 8 figures, not 7 like on my other tama I've used all the figures for, and the ponytchi... So give it a try later... But yet again, it doesn't work except for that once.

If it still isn't working... Try removing the batteries for a few minutes. Then try again and hope it works. Otherwise, keep trying to slide it in.

Why Its not working is probably a weird code error that sometimes happends... So the game chip is in there, just not working.

that is exactly what is happening!I'll try taking out the batteries for a few.

Mine still doesn't want to work... But it did register once... So there is a chance it will again. I haven't played with my Tama-Go in a few days though. (With the figure too) Atleast the games on mine aren't that fun to me.

Well I guess I did download once when I did remove the batteries... But I figured a reset wouldn't do anything since it was the Data chip being read incorrectly...

Mine works for my KuroMametchi, but not my Ponytchi... Thats not cool. They certainly made these figures cheaper then the last ones. (Set two of the figures) I'm sure they are lead paint too.... (Watch people complain too later)

Someone suggested to ask Bandai if they can ship you a new one because the one you purchased doesn't work. (Correctly) I think they might ask you for proof you purchased it (The figure in a picture) and maybe a picture of the reciept......

I didn't since it did register once. My advice is keep trying to load it every once in a while... Even while its sleeping. It wont destirb them I dont think.... Know how many you have activated, Keep checking.

Well, you have every right to get a correctly working tamagotchi figure. I don't think Bandai would charge you for shipping. It'd probably be a wait though...

It drove me nuts until I found out it registered... Then decided not to work again once I tried to use it again. Each time I've used my Tama-Go recently, I've tried the Ponytchi figure.

I'm over it though. I will probably get a replacement when I get the other three (Ichigo, ShimaShimatchi and Makiko.)and the 1st set Kutchipatchi.

same thing happened to me.it registered once but every time i tried to use it after i get the game that comes with my tama-go.I'm just going to buy a new figure there on sale for $3 at target.thank you for your help!

I just realized something.

If you look at the heart contacts on the figure that comes with your tama-go,there are little holes or dots above some of the hearts.it makes a little pattern.on my kuromametchi figure,it has the same pattern of dots as the figure that comes with my tama-go.maybe this is why it registers as the figure that comes with it?(I hope this makes sense)
