Darius woke up, forgetting it was his tenth birthday. He went downstairs, seeing his Mom making some breakfast. He went up to her and said, "Hi Mom!" Before being interrupted. "Happy Birthday, Sweetie!" "Mom, you don't have to do that. I'm growing up you know. I'm not a baby anymore." "I know, but, I'm just so happy seeing my little Darius go on his first adventure with a Pokemon!" "I know, I know. Anyway, I'm heading off okay?!" Bye Mom! "Bye Darius!" Darius went off to the next town when he heard someone call for help. "Help!" An old man said. Darius was shocked and ran after him. The old man said, "Go to my bag! There are three Pokeballs with Pokemon in them! Choose wisely and help me!" Darius looked through the bag, not knowing what to do. He randomly picked one and out came a Mudkip. "Mudkip!" It said, after seeing Darius. Darius said, "Hey there Mudkip!" "Help me!" The old man said again. Darius gave Mudkip a look like, "You ready?" And Mudkip nodded. They headed off to the old man and engaged in a Pokemon Battle. Darius yelled, "Mudkip! Tackle! And Mudkip did. Their opponent was a Zigzagoon. A Zig-Zag Pokemon. It hit Mudkip with a powerful Tackle. Mudkip flew back but, did not give up. It charged at the Zigzagoon at full speed and Tackled it. Zigzagoon was down. Darius and Mudkip were very excited. They ran up to the Old man and helped him up.
