time out

When do you put your tamagotchi a time out, and when do you prasie it. Thanks Chely

If your Tama beeps and nothing seems wrong (ie. hearts are filled, not sick) then discipline it. If it beeps and it's either crying or has it's back to you, praise it... it's lonely.

Some say that punishing an itchigotchi when it runs and falls gives you a mark on the training bar but i have never seen this working, it didnt work for me and it didnt work for my sister but there both connexions so mayb its just a plus and connection then

I was wondering if you can discipline it when it's happy is down and it wont play games. Because if you try to feed it and it rejects you can discipline it. I do that but it doesn't help. Then its happieness goes all the way down and i give it a snack and then it plays. Do you not discipline it for not playing?

Also when i discipline it sometimes it crys and other times the angry face comes up. Does the angry yelling face mean i disciplined it for the wrong thing?

A tamagotchi won't play a game if its weight is too low. Try giving it a meal or a snack and then playing with it.

The only time a tamagotchi needs a "time out" is when it calls for no reason or will not eat even though it is hungry. If you discipline it any other time, its happiness will just go down. "Praise" it when its back is turned to you or it is crying.
