Welcome to the Night World

For centuries, paranormal beings have lived alongside humans in a secret society called the Night World. The Night World is not a place, it is all around us. The creatures of the Night World are dangerous, beautiful, and irresistible to humans. Your best friend could be one... so could the one you love. The rules of the Night World are simple:

1. The humans must never know of the Night World's existence.

& 2. Members of the Night World must never fall in love with a human.

The rules are very clear. Violate these laws and the consequences may be fatal.

Name: Darcey Rose Durand

Species: Vampire

Age: 16 (117 years as a vampire)

Looks: Darcey has long, silky black hair with red streaks throughout. Her eyes are silvery-blue and turn red when she is aroused, angry, or thirsty. Her skin is flawless and pale, and resembles a porcelain doll. She is stunningly beautiful and is very appealing to men of any species. She has a thin figure but still has noticeable curves.

Personality: Darcey is very sweet and kind, even for a vampire. But she has a very bad temper and doesn't like to be messed with. She is flirtatious and loves to tease. She would take a bullet for the people she cares about, and she is always stuck in an internal battle to keep whatever humanity she has left.

Other: Darcey was born in France in 1878, and ran away with the love of her life Adrian when she was 14. He was a vampire, and changed her on her 16th birthday in 1894. Adrian was murdered by a group of vampire hunter werewolves a few years later, and since then she has hated werewolves. She avoids them at all costs. She uses the name Rose around humans, but Darcey with any fellow Night World member.

Name: Aqua Mistic

Species: Werewolf

Age: 13

Looks: Long brown messy hair with a green steak that often covers her ice blue eyes, due to this she is always pushing hair out of her eyes. She is very tall, and often wears a long blue dress with a few holes and many grass stains.She is tall for her age and hardly ever wears shoes, she will dress nicely as she pleases. When in wolf form she is a white wolf with brown 'stockings' on her paws. She is very quick, and has a somewhat sort temper. She is very patient towards younger werewolves.

Personality: She is very loyal, confident, cheeky, she is a smooth lier. When she thinks she is out matched she will walk away. (she dislikes the word flee.) She loves music. She is very independant.

Other: She is from a long line of werewolves and dislikes witches as she was told stories of bad things that witches have done when she was little. She is unsure of witches, and is trying to figure if those storys were true. If in need of information about the past, she will ask a vampire.

Looks: Dayanara has long black hair that hangs down to her waist and a very straight fringe just under her eyebrows, she was amber eyes, unusually pale skin, rather tall and slim too. She wears long green robes that go down her ankles, wears fingerless gloves, bare feet and a big iron key on a strinng around her neck. Has very good night vision too.

Personality: Dayanara is a charming and honest witch. But she really is cunning and rather clever. She could be resilient, confident and generous, but the next moment she could be naive, impatient and rather short tempered. She is very quiet and likes to stay in the shadows. She is a great artist nd always ending up having her way (either by persuasion or threat of hexing them but usually it is by doing everything herself), and is always right, it's just that nobody listens to her. She is also not to be messed with unless you want to have ivy growing out of your ears

Other: Dayanara is sometimes mistaken for a vampire which really annoys her, because of her very pale complexion. Is allergic to dandelions and peppermint.

Darcey glanced up from the small cross in the ground she'd been looking at. It marked the place where almost 3 years ago, the love of her life Adrian had been murdered by a pack of werewolves. Vampires and werewolves always clashed since the start of time, but until Adrian's death Darcey never had a problem with them. Night World members or not, she vowed to avenge Adrian's death at any cost. She sensed movement... and the scent of dog. Her eyes reddened.

Aqua pricked her eyes and slowly sniffed, she smelt vampire.

Darcey whistled softly, like she was calling a dog. "Here boy..." She growled, "I'm not gonna hurt you..." her voice lowered "just rip your furry head off."

Aqua rolls her eyes. "Wow, that is one of the worst threats I've ever heard!" she mutters gleefully.

Name: Faela Norman

Species: Vampire

Age: Currently 40, but takes the appearance of a 14 year old.

Looks: Fae wears a complete Gothic look. Fae has straight black hair that just brushes her shoulders. Her fringe is brushed to the side which only lets a small part of her left eye be shown. Her eyes turn the colour red when she is hungry, and is normal black. She over uses make up, but it is all black, her lips are black, which conflict with her pale white skin. Fae wears a dog collar around her neck, black with spikes sticking out. Her outfit is a black shirt with black denim jeans with black sneakers.

Personality: Faela is a girl that takes no second chances, she would rather regret than not regret. Fae eats one human per a night, but she is a light eater. Fae sucks some blood, some of it stains the earth and most of it is left with the human. Fae usually bites her prey on the wrist. Fae is the complete opposite of a flirt. Men usually find her quite sexy, but when they try to flirt, she usually adds them to the list of prey.

Name: Damien Kaiser

Species: Vampire

Age: 16 in Vampire and Human years

Looks: Damien has a very dark red hair, so dark it can appear brown in most lights. His hair is relativity long, the front stopping right at his eyes, covering the slightly, but enough so that he can still se. For his attire, Damien tends to wear a Black t-shirt and leather jacket, along with black jeans, giving him a goth look. His eyes are red, but most people can not see them because him his hair. He stands around 5'8 and weighs about 185 pounds, and is in good shape.

Personality: Although Damien will appear to be a stereotypical goth, he is not. Damien tends to defend his territory, being bold. When he sense's another immortals presence, he'll confront them no matter what, often fighting them. Otherwise, Damien is very mysterious, keeping to himself and not being very trusting. He tends not to flirt much, and can be very naive when it comes to girls because of his untrusting personality.

Other: Damien comes from a long line of vampires, although the vampire trait has skipped a few generations until him. Because of this, his family actually became vampire hunters, and when it was found out Damien was a vampire, he quickly fled. The vampire hunter traits in him make him untrusting of most people, immortals and humans alike.

Species: Human

Age:15

Looks: Crim is a small girl. She is thin like a twig and stands at about 5'4. Her hair is jet black and straight, falling just past her shoulders. Her eyes match her hair in a dull black, though they are very alluring and are a mysterious mix of emotions. She has snake bite piercings and preferably wears mostly black and purple, she also loves the color neon green and often has a green bracelet on. Her skin is pale and doesn't have the slightest tan. She also has a tattoo on her neck of a tiny black snake.

Personality: Crimson is always on her own, unless someone approaches her. She loves writing poetry and drawing, she has great talent for it. You'll never truly find what she's feeling or know her well, no matter how hard you pry, unless she truly feels that you care. Crim has the awful habit of hiding her emotions from others, then breaking down and letting them all out by herself, in her own way. She loves rain, and often will be found outside and walking around in the middle of a downpour. She is very different and she's proud of it. She wouldn't change her personality for the world.

Other: Her brother was a vampire and was murdered by vampire hunters while they were both out in the forest when she was little. She was completely clueless that her brother was a vampire, why they had killed him, or who the killers were, but she knew she had lost her brother.

Personality: Dayanara is rather clever and really confident. Though at times she gets grumpy really easily and has terrible memory. She is usually thought of as careless and annoying. She also gets up to mischief and doesn't like following orders very much.

Name: Chloe Cadwell

Species: Witch

Age: 16

Looks: Chloe is a brown haired, emerald green eyed girl who doesn't really appear to be a witch, since she chooses to look as ordinary as possible. She has slightly tanned skin, mainly from not being the type to be cooped indoors for long periods of time. Her darkish brown hair is tied back in a neat ponytail, either to the side, or just straight back, depending on what she wants to wear for the day. She wears normal human clothing, since she thinks that if she goes around wearing mythical looking clothing, it would make her look dumb, conspicuous, geeky, or emo. Most of the time, you will see her in casual wear, like what you would see a typical 16 year old girl wear.

Personality: Chloe is definitely not the type you could easily befriend, or become close to. She is stubborn, rude, and dislikes overly friendly people who act unrealistically cheerful. Chloe won't hesitate if she wants to punch someone, because she will go ahead and do it, as she has a rather short temper. Do not get on her bad side, as this will result in bad things happening. If you do befriend her, she will be a fiercely loyal friend, although don't rely upon her too much, or else she'll get mad. When it comes to crushes, Chloe tends to hide them, and when talking to whoever she likes, she'll simply act as if she doesn't like them.

Other: Chloe likes to eat. And drink. She comes from a family of witches, but tends to shun her family, and has moved away from her family as she doesn't really enjoy being a witch very much.

Damien was hiding in a dark alleyway at night. It was around midnight, and he needed a feeding. Waiting for his prey, Damien stuck his hands in his pockets, just watching the street for someone to pass. Finally, someone walked by, and he struck. Grabbing them by the back of the shirt, Damien pulled them into the alley and pinned them against a brick wall. Quickly biting their neck, he drained the blood and threw the body on the ground, walking away.
