Welcome to the exotic alien world of Pandora, a planet full of wonderful and terrifying creatures as well as rich, beautiful forests and terrain. The natives of Pandora, known as the Na'vi are a tribal race of human-like beings that live among Pandora's great forests. You will start out as either one of the Na'vi or a soldier trying to find this place in order to aid the Earth's Resource Development Administration to take complete control of the planet and strip it of natural resources. Choose whichever path you wish.

The Na'vi: These humaniod beings stand nine to ten feet tall, have blue, striped skin, pointed and mobile ears, large eyes, catlike noses and teeth, tails, and four fingers.

While taller than humans, they have narrower proportions in body frame. Their bones are reinforced with naturally occurring carbon fiber. The Na'vi also have a distinctive tendril feature protruding from the back of their heads, surrounded by hair (resembling a long braid or queue), feeding directly into the brain. This organ allows them to connect with other organisms around them, transferring electrochemical signals such as thoughts and memories to the trees, plants, and other creatures. The Na'vi can commune with animals on their planet by literally plugging their braid into the creatures' nerve systems. To become a warrior, a Na'vi must tame and ride a flying creature known as Ikran. The Na'vi also use this neural bonding system, called "tsaheylu", to mate with a "life partner", a bond that when made, cannot be broken in the Na'vi's lifetime. This is akin to human marriage.

The chief and possibly sole deity of the Na'vi is a benevolent goddess known as Eywa. The Na'vi are able to "connect" to Eywa when they use their braids to connect to the Tree of Souls and are entirely loyal to serving her.

The Na'vi are a warrior people and will do anything to protect their precious planet and way of life from the humans by any means possible.

The Humans:It is the year 2154 in which humans have achieved a technologically advanced, post-industrial society dominated by powerful corporations and industries. One of Earth's most powerful corporations is the globally integrated Resources Development Administration (RDA), a quasi-governmental organization that possesses a monopoly over all resources in the Alpha Centauri system and any other non-Earth location. Earth faces a worldwide economy/energy crisis due to the depletion of natural resources and is in dire need of acquiring more. This is why they have traveled to Pandora; to mine a precious mineral called unobtanium which can only be found in the area occupied by the Na'vi people. Because the humans are unable to survive outside of their base on Pandora due to the lack of oxygen in the atmosphere, they used their capability of advanced genetic engineering to develop "Avatar", or hybrid bodies from genetically distinct modified-human DNA and Na'vi alien genetic material. Through psionics, genetically-matched humans are then mind-linked to these "Avatars" for remote control operation so that they are free to safely roam the planet under the guise of the Na'vi people.

Rules:

1. If you choose to be a soldier you may either choose to stay on the side of the RDA or take sides with the Na'vi. The decision is yours.

Appearance: Of course, Leyra is one of the Na'vi and therefore possesses the beautiful blue, striped skin that is the signature characteristic of her people. Small, sequin-like freckles adorn her face and body, some in a set pattern, others more random and sporadic in placement. Her eyes are smaller than many of her fellow Na'vi women but they are attractive nonetheless. Her ears, thin and short, sit atop her head and are gauged with pure unobtanium. Her ears are surrounded by dozens of black dreadlocks that hang down to the crevice of Leyra's back. The ends of her dreads are decorated with small, wooden beads that are a tradition among the Na'vi. Her body is long and slender, toned with muscle from constant activity. (An aspect that Leyra finds extremely helpful when traveling through the dangerous forests of Pandora.)



Personality: Leyra is very likeable, though she is one of the tougher Na'vi women. She doesn't put up with crap and will quickly put someone in their place if the need ever arises. Because of her bold, in-your-face personality, Leyra is popular among many Na'vi groups and is even seen as a leader in the tribe. She is very loyal to her people and to Eywa.
