Woot! So, let's try this again, since my old theme park RP died... You win a cookie if you can get where this came from.

The story goes as follows: You work in a theme park known as the Zone, the coolest, awesomest park in all of California, rivaling Disney Land of course. (You don't have to be an employee, you can play a "player" too.) So...

It is July, and as the locals know, Southern Cal Summers are... HOT. But Summer means school's out, and also vacation time. So, guess what that means? Yep. That means the park is bustling with babies, kids, teens, adults and seniors, people of all ages! Well, that also means people of all personalities, which I'll talk about later..

EMPLOYEE RELATED THINGS FOR THOSE WHO WISH TO BE EMPLOYEES

If you work at a food cart, you have a red panic button to press if any of those weirdos/pervs decide to try anything.

There are lockers where you lock your things at the beginning of the day.

You get different work uniforms based on where you work.

There are three types of works: Food Cart Workers, Ride Workers, and Mascots. Well, there are more, but let's just stick with the fun ones (Who wants to be janitor/office manager anyway?).

Food cart worker's carts move to places where the computers think there will be business. So the food cart workers move from place to place.

You can be whatever as a mascot, be creative!

PLAYER RELATED THINGS FOR THOSE WHO WISH TO BE PLAYERS

The people who visit the park are called "Players" (duh).

Do not take over as an employee if you are a player.

As a player, you get to run around the park and do whatever, something employees cannot do.

And you get to go through all the attractions.. FUN!

RULES:

I MUST APPROVE YOUR FORM BEFORE YOU START RP.

No Mary Sues or Gary Stu's (AKA Perfect characters)

No flaming wars.

If you want to show a picture for appearance, then PLEASE LINK IT. I don't want to see pictures stretching across the screen.

Follow all forum rules.

DO NOT JOIN THIS RP IF YOU ARE JUST GOING TO POST A FORM, POST A FEW TIMES AND QUIT! I have this problem with one of my RP's and it's a little irritating, so only join if you are willing to participate and not leave!

No ultra attention seeking characters (AKA a character who always gets sick/collapses/just screams for attention. A klutz is okay but no excessive accident/super showoff characters.

Play as many characters as you want; we'll need them. Hey, you need people to run a park.

And that's about it. Have fun, be creative. Do whatever~

Let me explain the park to you.

The Kids Zone- Where all the Kiddie Rides are. Here, there are some rides based on Fairy Tales such as Little Red Riding Hood, and Rapunzel.

The History Zone- Includes Ancient Greece, Ancient Egypt, Colonial America and the Medieval Europe Zone. This is where most of the mascots work.

Thrill Zone- Exactly as it seems- Extreme Rides and Super Coasters are here.

Extreme Zone- Bungee jumping and crazy activities.

Splash Zone- For all the water activities and water slides and rivers!

Exploration Zone- Science related activities and rides.

Game Zone- For all the carnival games and sporty activities.

So, ready to go? One more thing.

First off, this is a semi-advanced literate RP. So I don't expect paragraphs, but at least four sentences a post. So:

Anna was exhausted, and wished to head back to the air conditioned locker rooms over and over again. Sighing, she knew her shift wasn't over for another hour. Wiping sweat from her brow, she took the order of a shady looking guy and spun the cotton candy for him. The man gave her a creepy stare. Anna wondered whether to hit the panic button or not.

NOT: Anna was tired. She knew her shift wasn't over for an hour. She took an order from a shady guy and said "I wonder if I should hit the panic button".

Clear?

Name:Emily St.Claire

Age:16 ½

Gender:Female

Personality: Emily is smart, charming, and witty. She very caring and compassionate and is a is very determined girl. She is loud and isnt afraid to speak her mind, which sometimes works faster than her lips can causing her words to turn to incoherant mush, especially when she is nervous. She can be quite seductive when she wants to be, although she doesn't really see herself as an outstandingly attractive girl, just average or even sometimes below. She can have ger sligfht mood swing but she doesn't try and be anyone else, the one thing she really can't stand is fake people.

Looks:Emily is not the typical 'hot' girl, standing at about average height with somewhat long legs and shorter arms and a dazzling smile. She stands at about five foot 6 inches. She is not one of those girls who can squeeze into a size zero due to her curves, but she is by no means fat and has a flat toned stomache. She has blue-grey eyes which can vary day to day from a bright blue to a smokey gray. Her hair is naturally straight and is blonde. It isn't very short but,not it its endless(nor fake)like so many ther girls' was, reaching about her waist. Brookelyn is generally girly she is of course more comfortable in jeans or sweats but she loves the feel of being in dresses or skirts, but not the work that goes along with it. Her make up is usually simple, normally neutral shades and light application. Her clear skin is a light shade that rarely ever tans like other girls, for Emily it goes from white to white to red.

(^That's k for the thing, and you are accepted :3. Anyway, time to make my characters..)

Name: Landon Tracy

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Personality: Landon is a friendly guy for the most part. He can come out a little rude at first, since he is rather rash and can act based on first opinion of the person he sees. He is a kind guy who can appear vulnerable, but he can tell when somebody is telling a lie or trying to trick him. Landon also is pretty intelligent (A- and B's, one C) for his grades. The guy also has a good sense of humor. Due to the fact he's very protective of his secrets and crushes, he's never had a girlfriend despite the fact he probably has at least 3 girls with a crush on him at a time.

Looks (Pic or Descrip): Landon has dark brown short hair and charming green eyes. These two features alone have proven to be an issue, as these capture some girls at once, as they are his more striking features. Well, his eyes at least. Moving on, he has a frame between a medium and a small, and is 5'8. He has light skin, since he's Caucasian. Landon normally wears a gray sweatshirt and jeans, but seeing as this RP takes place at work, his uniform is a white polo and jeans. Oh, he has to wear a black visor too.

Job: He works at a food cart selling cotton candy. Oh, the poor guy.

Job Zone: The cart moves around the park.

Crush: None. Yet.... :)

Other: He swears he will never have sugar after this Summer.

Thank ya,

I don't know if we should start of wait for more people...

(After another person joins, we can start. In the meantime, I'm making another character.)

Name: Ethan Hanson

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Personality: Ethan is a guy who is definitely a class comedian type. He isn't the type who does the tease people/put down people comedy, since he has a good sense of justice and has some restrictions. But he definitely loves to pull off pranks and make references to media. Moving away from his antics, Ethen has a good heart and is a creative guy who is a good artist. His grades aren't exactly the best (C's), and he's an average athlete only good at tennis.

Looks (Pic or Descrip): Underneath the anime like brown bear costume, Ethan has a blond crew cut and hazel-brown eyes. He is a medium build at regular weight who is 6'0 tall. He really has no notable features about his natural appearance. He is the type who likes to wear khaki shorts and t-shirts year round. Sometimes, he might wear a light black jacket over the t-shirt. But most of the time, he looks like the kind who people will always ask, "Aren't you cold?!"

Job: Mascot who runs around in a bear suit. He was originally put as a clown but since he is mortally afraid of them (And didn't want to look like one), the employer manager put him as a mascot.

Job Zone: He runs around the entire park making people laugh.

Crush: None yet. Soon, maybe...

Name: Ricky

Age: 14

Gender: Male

Personality: Ricky is the curious boy who loves to experiment with all things of things. He opens things up, and proceeds to assemble it back together. He annoys people by his constant questioning about how things operate around the park but he doesn't seem to know why they're so annoyed. After all, he just wants to learn a thing or two. He's polite and tries his best to avoid trouble.

Looks: Here

Crush: No one

Other: He always has his pocket screwdriver kit ready with five different heads and different three sizes.

Emily arrived at the park and smiled politely at the lady at the gate and handed her her pass and pushed er way through the little swirly gate thing when the little green light bleeped on. She walked her way through the park to the splash zone. And into the employees building. She opened up her locker an tossed her bag into it. She was wearing a pair of sleek black shorts and a black tanktop over her bathing suit and a simple pair of flipflops so she didn't have to change

Accepted.

Ethan got into his brown bear costume, which covered his entire body from head to toe with brown furriness. If it wasn't for the fact he had bought a portable A/C which he had slipped into his costume, he probably would be dead due to heat exhaustion. Other things he always slipped into his costume included a huge water bottle and his cell. Oh, and his car keys. Anyway, he climbed out of the locker room after locking his stuff in his locker, and he headed out to go make people laugh.

On the other hand, there was Landon, who was also just exiting the locker room. According to his supervisor, his cotton candy cart was out in the Splash Zone today. Landon was relieved by that. This meant that right after his shift was over, he could dump himself in one of the icy cold pools. Reaching his cart, he quickly warmed up the spinner, made three pink fluffy clouds of cotton candy and then awaited his first customers of the day.

Ricky wished that he could fix something at the theme park. Anything. Whether it be a ride breaking down at Trill Zone or the bell clogging up at the "Test Your Strength" game at the Game Zone. Knowing something probably won't happen at this time, he walked over to Exploration Zone, his favorite Zone of all. He wondered if they had anything new in store or not. As he approached Exploration Zone, he greeted the man in charge of the activities and kindly asked if there was anything new.

Emily tied her little whistle around the strap of her tank top securing it there with enough cord to be able to reach her mouth. She exited the locker room into the blistering heat of another sunny summer day. normally she loved the heat and these parks but when you spent all day just standing around watching others have fun and doing the same mundane task over and over again the days could drag on forever. She yawned slightly still a little tires from the combination of her late night last night and early morning this morning. she checked her squedule on the wall of the employees building and headed to the wave pool where she started her shift and would stay until her lunch and then she would be stationed at one if the slides or water rides.

Lissa entered the park using her seasons pass that she had gotten for her birthday. She carried a small blue bag which she crammed into a locker she then headed off into the general section of the park. She stood in her jean shorts and green tee infront of the giant park nap tryig to decide where to go first.

A parent with two screaming toddlers came up and ordered a cotton candy. Landon made one and handed it to him, watching the guy walk away while trying to make the toddlers behave by using the cotton candy as a bribe. As he watched the three, he couldn't help but wonder if he was ever like that when he was little. Probably; all kids went through that phase in life where they just sort of acted like crazy, little monsters. As a group of middle school age boys approached, he quickly snapped back into work mode and then took their orders.

Meanwhile, Ethan was entertaining a bunch of little kids by juggling six bowling pins at once. All the kids watched him in awe, staring at him with a sort of admiration that made Ethan smile. He put the pins down after awhile and jogged away, waving back at the now laughing kids (Seeing a brown bear run was funny, apparently), and headed to go entertain somebody else. Once he reached the Exploration Zone, he saw a group of 9 year old girls wearing makeup, skinny jeans and figure fitting tank tops. Strolling up to them casually, he asked, "Hey girls, looking for some guys to hook up with?" One of them looked insulted, and flipped her hair. "I already have a boyfriend, that was rude!" Ethan laughed in one of his mascoty ways - "Hohoho." Then he came up with quick answer. "Has he taken you out to the movies yet? Driven you home? Taken you out to dinner?" The girl looked taken aback. "Well, no... But he's the perfect guy!"

Emily made her way through the already forming crowds to the wave pool. She walked up to the wave pool, or well the side of the wave pool anyways. She swung a leg over the small metal bar that blocked off the slightly raised up side of the pool and gracefully climbed over it. She walked up a few feet to about the centre of the pool and wtahced out at the pool scanning it. She watched the water rock back and forth as the the waves started up with the loud buzzer noise.

LIssa decided to take a left and headed into the Exploration Zone. She wandered casually not sure what to do. She wandered around the entrance of the zone aimlessly undecided of which way to go, should she head toward the themed snacks, the rides, or maybe somewhere else all together. This park was so big it was impossible to get through it all in one day and Lissa never knew where to start. So she stood there in the front entrance, just standing, probably looking either lost or really stupid.

Name: Candi (Candace) Pillsworth

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Personality: Candi is a person who you do not want to mess with. She has a short fuse that can easily go off at any little comment. She can also fake sincerity, which has made her get out of trouble in the past.

Candi, like anybody has good qualities too. She is known to always help a friend in need, no matter the cost.

Looks: Candi has a dyed dark purple pixie cut with a large side sweep bang that covers one eye.

Her eyes are a pale blue that adds to the beauty of her ruby lipped perfectly white winning smile.

She also has a rather small nose that is attatched to her heart shaped face on her small 5` body. Candi is not skinny, but is also not quite chubby she is somewhere in the middle.

Job: She is a chipmunk mascot which she deeply hates. She was tight on money and it was the only uniform she fitted in so she accepted.

Job zone: Kids Zone

(Accepted!)

Landon continued whipping out the sticky, sugary pink clouds as the morning continued on. Around 10:30, his stomach began to yell out in hunger. Landon resisted the urge to eat cotton candy; he was trying to make varsity soccer in the fall, for chrissakes. He couldn't go around stuffing himself with sugar. It happened to also be around then that a very rude, overweight little boy marched up to him. "Hey little high school peasant, give me some cotton candy NOW, or I'll get Daddy to sue you!" The kid crossed his arms and gave Landon a look that could kill sheep. "Get some manners first, leeeteeel boy," Landon told the kid. The kid marched away to a guy that appeared to be the kid's dad.

Emily looked up at the large rainbow-handed clock in the centre of the water park. Her stomach growled and turned. Almost lunch, thank goodness for that if he had to stand here staring at this water she was going to end up drowning herself in it. That and the fact that she was starving made her one extremely unhappy camper. Today was one of those days where she needed a good pick me up kind of lunch. Something high caloried and sugar filled like ice-cream and candy all of the other wonderful snacks this park had to offer. She looked around and could see children marching up to there parents and what looked to be lecturing them or at least complaining in some way, children these days were becoming ruder and ruder. If she had ever talked or acted like that she probably would have had is smacked out of her in a second. She swore to herself everyday she was here that if she ever had kids she would make sure they didn't turn out to be little brats. Her train of though was interrupted by her stomach complainig once more, bringing her thoughts back to a search of food.

It was finally Candi's break, she spent the entire morning taking pictures with snotty little kids who got their little sticky hands all over her costume. She had to make her way through the splash zone since the kids zone was so far away from the lockers. She had to do this every day now since she was too lazy to go the long way. She popped her costumes and pushed her hair out of her face when she saw her friend Landon in the cotton candy booth.

She watched the kid before her as he stormed out.

"That kid giving you problems? I could smack some sense into him." She joked.

"Thanks, but I got it covered. You get used to having kids like that after about two weeks of work." Landon yawned loudly, and then shot a quick glance at his watch. 20 minutes before the first part of his shift was up, and then it'd be lunchtime. He mentally reassured his crying stomach that food would be sitting in it soon. "How's your day been going?" He asked Candi.

Laughing, Ethan jogged away from the group of gawking middle school girls. The one he had bothered about her boyfriend stared him, dumbstruck with some rage mixed into her face. He looked around for another person to bother, and saw a girl standing by the entrance, looking lost (Lissa). He jogged up to her. "Are you lost? Wait a second here, you look to be the same age as me, you don't look like a little girl separated from her parents!"

Lisaa wa snapped back into reality when Ethan spoke. He shook her head slightly as if to shake off her previous thoughts that she had been lost in. " Oh um no, I just have no clue what I want to do or where I want to go first. " she explained. " Since when do bears talk anyways?" she questioned simply to torment him a bit. " Let alone try and help lost little girls... But no I am most certainly not little girl who has gotten separated from her parents. Or atleast not recently," she was somewhat used to being assumed to be younger than she was, it was one of those thugs you got used to when you are short.

Candi grumbled and then let out a hefty sigh. "How was work? How is it usually? Bratty kids, drunk adults and boiling in stink, in other words, work was bad." Candi wiped a bead of sweat off her forehead. "I really need to get this costume off. I'm off for quite a bit, want to hang out around the park when you're off?"

"Sure! I'm going to be off and free for lunch in about.. Uh.." He stole a look at his wristwatch. "7 minutes now," Landon finished. His stomach let out a loud, grumble, and he tried not to notice as he added, "Where should we get lunch?"

Ethan the bear laughed at Lissa's comment back. "Ha, I wasn't trying to call you a little girl. You look to be the same age as me- Well, at least the me not in a sweet bear suit. Although you could say I'm a older teenage bear. And just to let you know, bears can speak in english, when they want to be beary funny," Ethan said, making emphasis on the terrible pun he just made.
