So far, there are three games for the Smash Bros series.

Super Smash Bros.
Nintendo 64, 1996

Super Smash Bros Melee.
Gamecube, 2001

Super Smash Bros Brawl
Wii, 2008

I have played ALL of them. The art in the first Smash bros game looks totally weird compared to Brawl. But overall, all of them are AWESOME.

I only have Brawl and I don't have a 64 or Gamecube to get the others. And I don't have the classic controller or whatever needed for SSB from Wii Shop Channel. :<

But whatever, SSB is one of the best video game series EVER [also the only video game I've ever known to recieve a 10 out of 10 in Nintendo Power xD]!

^You can still get Melee if you have a wii, you would just need a game cube controller, which i would suggest for a wii owner anyway because it works for games such as brawl and mario kart. I use a game cube controller for brawl myself, even though at first i was stubborn about switching from the wii remote/ nunchuk combo.

And btw, SSB isn't the only 10 out of 10. The first was Ocarina of Time, and has been for 12 years straight. Not just in Nintendo Power, but on any game rating website.

But anyway, the only one I don't have is the one for N64, but i'll probably buy it at Otakon if i can find it, which is probable considering it's very common. I know i can order this stuff online, but buying it in person is more fun and satisfying.

I LOVE the Smash Bros. series. I borrowed the 64 game from a friend when I was younger and played it all the time. I have Melee and Brawl and I love playing it with my brother and my friends. After about ten years, I STILL suck at the games and my wins are usually total flukes. I love playing with Kirby :3

i think they mean in the big photo with mario, link, pit and yoshi in it.
Kirby's face in that is just to weird. i used to take photos on melee with kirby and he always had that face after you used b on the gamecube controller.

When I was younger, before Melee was out, I remember my cousins and I used to go out and rent (we didn't buy it, we RENTED it, kids) SSB for the N64 and play it all night. Whenever I go to play the game, it's very nostalgic. Granted, Melee and Brawl are the better games, but I always thought the Pokemon stage from the first game was the best. I also enjoyed the bumper item- that thing honestly kicked butt. But the graphics and characters are better in Melee and Brawl. I think I like the stages and items from the first game, the characters from the second game, and the story mode and graphics from the third game. If someone combined the three, it'd be the greatest thing ever. In my honest opinion.

Ah, renting N64 games, now that's way before my time, lol. I kinda missed out on that generation, being only 2 or 3 years old when the system came out, and having no older siblings. Wished i could've had it back then, but i didn't get my N64 until a couple of years ago, beginning my obsession with classic game consoles. Don't have smash bros. 64 yet, but it's on the top of my list of games to buy. I want to have all the smash bros. games. Actually, the first one i got was Brawl, then Melee (used at gamestop for 15 dollars, lol). Because even Melee was a little early for me. First game cube games i got as a kid were Super Mario Sunshine and Wind Waker, and those didn't come out until 2002. Melee was 2001 i believe. Anyway, i'm being off topic.
