Some of us have it all.

Making honor roll, rich parents that can buy you anything you want, getting all the new clothes that are "totally in", a stable home environment. Country clubs and mansion parties all the time. Drugs? Alcohol? Unpolished shoes? Ridiculous. It's great and all, bathing in gold coins and never working a day in your life. Many of these kids would say "He11 yes, this is the life!" These are the lucky ones. Their lives are perfect... or are they?

And some of us aren't so fortunate.

Any day could be the day you lose your home, if you haven't already. Barely getting by in school, if you're responsible enough to even show up. Maybe your parents work all the time, or maybe your parents aren't around for anything. Working on the streets is the only way you get by. It's a cruel world. This way of life must be horrible, right? It's all you know, so you don't complain. After all, you're still breathing.

Here's the deal. All I ask, is that you make this as real as possible. Do I really need to go into the basic rules? (No God-modding, no mary-sues, keep it somewhat-literate ,etc)Become your character. Feel the emotion in your writing. As for cursing; for the sake of the website, using *'s when needed. I personally do not care what kind of language you use. Again, be real. So if you are immature or can't handle "bad" talking, this is my warning to you- don't even bother to join. I don't really have a specific way of where or how this starts off. Be creative and go with it. I don't really have a limitation on what can or cannot happen between characters. I'd prefer you to not kill anyone, but if that's what your little heart desires, go for it. Just make sure that if something you post involves another character, talk to them first! Make sure to have permission.

And that pretty much covers everything! I'll make my Bio when a few more people join. If you read all this, put your favorite color under your bio! :)

Name: Toddi Ginsel

Age: 17

Class: Street

Looks: Toddi has lightly tanned, smooth skin and cooper-colored brown eyes. The only make up she wears is mascara to bring out her long eyelashes. Wavy, strawberry colored hair with caramel and dark brown highlights. Four ear piercings in each ear, a monroe piercing, and a lip ring. Wears old black converse sneakers almost every day. Her clothes of choice are loose t-shirts with a tank top, over-sized hoodies, ripped skinny jeans, or faded sundresses.

Personality: Toddi is very much a hippie. She isn't shy, but she is also not a social butterfly. Will give anyone a chance for friendship. She is very calm and laid back and only gets pi**ed when people mess with her friends. She gets called a stoner, and is completely okay with it. She smokes, drinks, and will try just about anything once. She lives life by each day and only cares about her friends.

History: She is an only child, and her parents died in a horrible car crash when she was 12. They left her a decent amount of money in their wills, but still not enough for her to live in luxury. She lives in a trailer alone and has parties and bonfires outside the trailer with friends a lot. She is very careful with the money she has from her parents, and tries to make her own by selling marijuana and other substances on the side.

Name: Raquel "Rockey" Alexander

Age: 17

Class: Street kid

Looks:

A small girl, about five foot, with a thin body, Rockey can be rather deceptive. Her muscles are smooth, but strong, underneath her often baggy clothes. She has an eccentric, yet edgy sense of style. She's obsessed with dying her hair and constantly restyles it and dyes it various colors. Her clothing style varies day to day. Occassionally, she'll feel girly, but she often wears a hat of some sort along with a baggy shirt and skinny jeans or basketball shorts, with of course, Nikes.

Click!

Personality:

Rockey's a hard worker. As well as working as a waitress, she breakdances in underground competetions, often raking in enough cash to support her and her mother, who is often drunk, sleeping with men Rockey doesn't recognize. She's that easygoing, quiet girl in the back of the classroom. (She is adamant about attending school, graduating, then heading off to college). Though she is often quiet, but can be outrageously loud if she wants to be. She is tolerant of smoking and drugs, but doesn't smoke or get stoned or get drunk - she believes the toll it'll take on her body will kill her dance life. Rockey is on the fence about her sexuality. She knows she's bisexual, but right now she's having problems seeing guys as lovers. For now, she says she prefers girls, but if that special guy comes along, then... Yeah.

History:

When Rockey was young, her father left her mother and her alone, taking her brother with him. Her mom began drinking and smoking, never to meet another guy without being drunk or high. Now, Rockey's mom is rarely home. Rockey pays the bills herself, forging her mother's signature, etc. However, she cares very much for her mother, even if she doesn't need her anymore. When she was 7, she began teaching herself how to break (bboy). When she was 10, she won her first competition.

My favorite color is blue.

Name: Cameron "Cam" Steele

Age: 18

Class: Rich kid

Looks: Cameron has silky, flawlessly combed blonde hair; a pale, smooth complexion; and electric blue eyes. The face of an angel practically. His hair lays perfectly right above his eyes. Cam is on the tall side, about 6'2". Although he is very wealthy, he doesn't dress quite as nicely as his spoiled friends. He prefers plaid button-up shirts and denim. On occasion Cameron will wear a dark sweater vest with a tie tucked under it; and surprisingly looks hot and not geeky.

Personality: Cam is not as stuck up as most of the other rich kids, and he acknowledges those from the streets. He even talks to them sometimes. When around his buddies, he is quite an a$$- only living up to expectations. He spends most of his free time at the local coffee shop or at football practice as the lead quarterback.

History: His mother came from Russia, where he was born, and married his step-father when she came to the states when Cam was only 4 years old. His mother changed his last name from Andreev to match her married name- Steele. Everyone thinks that his step dad is his real father. He has a slight accent, and is proud of his heritage no matter what his brainwashed mother thinks.

Name: Landon Campbell

Age: 17

Class: Rich kid.

Looks: Landon is a boy who is 5'8 and has a semi-medium frame (In between small and medium). His hair is naturally dark brown, and he has it in a crew cut. Well, in that style, but only a bit longer- about an inch long from the skin on his head. Landon isn't a fan of skater clothing or fashionable boys clothing and tends to just dress up like an athletic type- sweatshirts, t-shirts, jeans, shorts, running shoes, the like. He is good at matching colors when it comes to clothes, though. Landon's eyes are a striking sky blue.

Personality: Even though he's rich compared to the street kids, he really doesn't like to act like he's superior even though he is of higher social class. He is generally a very kind, carefree guy who most people like (Think cool jock). He is definitely an athletic guy who loves to do sports- track and soccer to be specific. He doesn't believe in football, saying that it's for the jerks who love to have drinking and drug parties (Which it is, as he learned from personal experience). He can be rash at times, and has a short temper. If you get him mad, he can be a bit unstoppable. Landon is the type who gets B's and A-s.

History: He actually isn't rich, he's in between rich and middle class. He's had a very ordinary life- his family moved to the house they live in now when he was 3, and then from there, he pretty much just advanced up the many grades, until he found himself in high school, to the time around where this RP takes place.

Fav color is teal. :D

Name: Drake Lefèvre

Age: 18

Class: Rich

Looks:

Take one look at him, and you'd immediately know Drake was a rich kid. Everything about him screams rich; his face, clothes and even the way he walks with his hands in his pocket. He has perfectly messy dark brown hair that somehow defies gravity, and emerald green eyes. He's quite tall and nicely built--but not overly muscular. He generally prefers to wear plain button up shirts, usually in black.

Click me for Drake

Personality:

Drake is either: not paying attention or off breaking some hearts and being a jacka$$. He really doesn’t care much for others and sticks for himself. Okay, so he's a complete jerk. But he actually can be partially decent sometimes. In fact, once every five years he's actually in a good mood. And once every ten years he may actually smile. His excuse for not being decent is that he's too lazy to do anything, let alone care what other people think or feel. Drake spends his free time sleeping or having an awesome time partying and getting into various amounts of trouble.

History:

Pretty boring. Drake literally spent half his life sleepwalking through his girlfriends, friends and family. His mom came from France and is bedridden with poor health. His dad turns his back to all the crazy trouble Drake gets into. In fact, he basically turns his back to everything Drake does.

Favorite color: purple.

Rockey's hair fell low in front of her eyes as she walked on to the school campus. Her black backpack was slung on one shoulder, her baggy plaid shirt making her seem lazy, but she looked slightly feminine with almost too-tight skinny jeans. She was half an hour early because some kid stole her watch the other day, and she was yet to buy a new one. It was her favorite watch - real brown leather and everything. She'd have to wait for another competition to come around to afford one like one that again. She sighed, dissatisfied.

[[ooc: Thanks guys! Feel free to start! :) ]]

Toddi sat in the corner of the coffee shop on the edge of the school's campus. She wasn't in the mood to eat overpriced cafeteria food today. Two blueberry muffins and a hot cup of German coffee was much more in her price range. She stared blankly in the direction of a group of rich boys on the other side of the room. She wondered what they could possibly have to talk about, and realized she didn't care to know. But she couldn't help but notice one of the boys; the blonde one. Cameron maybe? She met his gaze and immediately flinched away when she caught his gorgeous blue eyes staring at her. She shook her head and sipped her coffee, waiting to see if anyone she did care about would show up.

Why was he at school, for crying out loud? Drake could think of a million and two things he'd rather do than go to school and listen to boring lectures. Sleeping, for instance, sounded great. But sadly, his sorry excuse of a father insisted that he go to school for at least one day of the year. Just one day. Of course, he would say the same thing tomorrow...and the day after....

Drake shoved his hands into his jean pockets before yawned widely for the sixth time that morning. In the middle of his precise yawning, he promptly plowed straight until a girl.

Why was he at school again?

Rockey yelped and lashed out instinctively with her fist. It hit the dude's face.

Oops.

"Oh, sorry! Sorry!" she said, brown eyes wide.

She was looking down while she walked, but then again, so was he. So technically, it was the rich kid's fault too. Ugh. He looked so... Snooty. And rich. And kind of lazy. Why didn't Rockey wear better clothes today? She looked like crud. A competition wouldn't come again for another while. So, she'd have to live without new clothes for a while if she wanted a watch. And a watch was a necessity.

Without a second glance- ok, maybe just one- at the attractive rich blond boy, Toddi strolled out of the coffee shop with her to-go cup in hand. It was a short walk to the main building of the high school, and the pleasant warm breeze was a nice way to begin the day. Upon reaching the parking lot, a silver mustang swerved passed her, freezing her in her place. D*mn rich punks... she thought to herself. If she owned a car, she would more than enjoy running one of them over. "I'm poor, not invisible you morons!" She yelled after them. She -almost- felt bad for saying moron when the Cameron boy got out of the car. She turned away and stared only at the ground until she got to the front door of the school. Her heart skipped a beat when she heard a soft voice say "Sorry, my friend can't drive to save his life", and opened the door for her.

"Oh, uh, it's- don't worry about it." Toddi stumbled out. She walked into the school and briefly turned to smile at Cameron and say "thanks." She continued down the hall to find her friends.

Drake shook his head a few times, just to make sure this was really happening. Yeah. Some random chick with strange hair really did just hit him in the face. Whoa. Oh well. There was no damage done; his nose was still perfectly straight. And now he was actually awake now. Great.

He blinked down at her like he was just fully realizing that she was standing there. In fact, he was. Before she had unceremoniously crashed into her like a belated planet, Drake hadn't realized she even went to this school.

He frowned. "Whatever. Watch where you're going. Get a haircut, too. It's not good on the eyes."

Subconsciously, she did a slight hair flip. He's ugly, she thought. Well, at least now he didn't look too stoned or tired or whatever his ugly face was doing before. His eyes were a little more open.

"You're one to talk!" she snapped, "Your hair makes you look like a wannabe porcupine!" Her nose scrunched up in disgust. "It's soft and falling all over and school hasn't even started. You need better gel. Can't you afford that?"

Toddi approached one of her best friends Rockey right as she said the word "porcupine". It was too early for humor, but she laughed anyway at the awesome insult. "They think they run the friggin' school just because their parents have enough money to buy it for them."

Rockey laughed and gave Toddi a fist bump. "Ayeee! We gotta work for what we got and actually move while they just sit around all day!"

Drake chortled shortly. Like Crazy Hair Chick knew anything when it came down to money. She looked like the only thing green she'd seen in her life was something that belonged in the dumpster.

"Sweetheart, at least my hair doesn't look like it went through the blender. Twice."

This was actually getting exciting. Drake was sort of beginning to get interested.

Toddi grinned at her friend and pondered to herself, not sure if she was going to class today or not. She watched Drake through her -corny but friggin' awesome- leopard shades carefully, but not obviously. He seemed like a total a**, but was that a chuckle she heard come out of his mouth? An actual glimpse of humor?

"Ha-ha-ha," Rockey rolled her eyes. "You don't know how a blender works. My hair could never look like it came out a blender, you spoiled brat. And, at least, my hair doesn't look like these awkward things... Ugh... Your hair just looks greasy and oily and too fake. It doesn't even compliment your facial structure. Then again, your parents probably taught you how to dress and do your dumb hair." A smirk slid across her face.

Toddi stood silent and held back more laughter as Rockey continued to rag on Mr.FancyPants. She took a quick glance off to the side and was startled to see, of course, Cameron standing there. He was obviously enjoying this as much as Toddi was. But why? Wasn't his friend the one being insulted beyond belief? She had to think twice but, yes, that was a head nod towards her. Not just any head nod, but a hey-you-come-here nod. "I'll let you two continue your conversation in private", Toddi chuckled and nervously walked towards Cameron.
