this would be the generation two of a tamagotchi based of a Japanese tv show i cant remember

 
The model in the link you provided is a Hanerutchi 2. Functionally, it's similar to an EnTama, but the characters (not cute at all) and built-in minigames are based on a Japanese television comedy show.
