India, aged 11, was playing with her Wave 2 purple Tama-Go at the time. It had a Violetchi figure on top of it. On the screen, her ugly and hateful Marotchi was bouncing around with all Happy and Hungry hearts empty and several poops. She had one Training bar. India sighed and paused Natalia, her Tama-Go. Raising Tamas was HOPLESS for her. Ten times she had been caught sneaking them into school. She was no good at playing any games, so her character's Happy hearts were always empty. She looked round at her 5 Tamas sitting on the top of her bookshelf; Natalia, Jakey her Gozarutchi V6, Emma her Makiko TMGC+C...all hideous horrible care characters. She wished she could get a cute Chamametchi, or UraVioletchi, or maybe even an adorable Lovelitchi. But it never happened. Always, she was holding her breath as her beloved teen evolved, but it always turned out as some totally un-cute character. She loved each of her Tamas dearly, but she just couldn't take care of them. Couldn't couldn't couldn't. No matter how hard she tried, her maximum score on games was 5 and her maximum amount of Hearts in one go was 3 hungry and 2 Happy. Her maximum amount of Training bars was 2. Her friends laughed at her because she only got ugly horrible care characters while they boasted Lovelitchis dressed up in 10000 GP dresses. She didn't know how they did it. She was utterly friendless. But that was soon to change.

Suddenly, she felt something tugging at her arm. It was pulling her up into the sky at a trememdous speed. When she looked up, she saw that it was, life-size and perfectly real and 3-D, Natalia the Marotchi pulling her up into space. India heard Natalia say "You loved us, India our owner, but you just couldn't show us pixel love. Now we are no longer pixels, your real love, your kissing us goodnight and your soft words to us to comfort us when we evolve into horrible care characters, counts now. I will transform into what I should really be". Then, for a moment, India thought she was dreaming. In a swirl of flashing colours, Natalia had transformed into a Lovelitchi that was more bright and beautiful than any of her schoolamtes could dream of. This was, you see, her first character that was better than horrible care. As she cherished the pride at being allowed to see her Tamas as real live creatures, the two sped on in the darkness.
