Eh, I don't see what the big hype about them is, apart from people crushing on the members. I think that they're average singers at best, and none of them can play an instrument...(Well, that's what I've gathered from their performances. They only sing.)
Saying that they're the best band ever is definitely up for debate.

Musically, they're pretty terrible, in my opinion.
Appearance wise, they're amazing. So attractive.

I like their song "What Makes You Beautiful", only because it's just a sweet song in general.
Otherwise, I can't get into any of their other music..

One Direction came third in British X Factor and have actually become more popular than the winner. They're pretty good at singing and are so cute.

Um, I don't like their music
They are not 'the best band ever'
There are more classic and popular ones like Queen, The Beatles, Nirvana, all that :T
But they're nice people.
And they're british.
British people are cool.
One of them is Irish.
He's awesome.
