I read that it's normal for the Angelgotchi to be more quiet than a G1/G2 volume wise. I just got a Japanese one on Ebay and it is practically silent, I can only hear it in a quiet room. Is that just how it is?

Yeah, I think it's normal. I have the US version and mine's the same way.

I think they are fairly quite... Both of my English and Japanese ones are.
