Hi there fellow TamaTalkers. I have a habit, as a collector, to continually browse eBay. Now, my tamagotchi and virtual pet knowledge is pretty extensive, given the size of my collection and how long I have been collecting, but sometimes I find items that I dont know are underpriced and then later see them for a higher price on eBay. So my question is as follows: Can anyone (with the proper knowledge) tell me the proper value of the following items :) :

- Keroppi Frog Pet - Bought for: $28 - Seen for:$90 - Real price: ?

- Pink and Yellow Oden-Kun together - Bought for:$45 - Seen for:$110 - Real Price: ?

- Genjitch Tamagotchi - Bought for:$25 - Seen for:As high as $60 - Real Price: ?

- Prince and Princess Tamago-chu - Bought for:About $30 - Seen for:$70 at the highest - Real Price: ?

EDIT:

I just got these two for what I think is a bargain, and I've had the CoroCoro for a while now :)

- SantaClautchi - Mint bought for :$150 including postage - Seen for: up to $250 - Real price: ?

- Tamagotchi Accounts Book Ginza Street Kakebo - Mint bought for :$12 including postage - Seen for: $40 - Real price: ?

- Japanese K-Plus Tamagotchi CoroCoro Comic Version - Mint Bought for :About $20 - Seen For :$125 - Real price: ?

On a side note - When I got the Japanese K-Plus Tamagotchi CoroCoro Comic Version, I didnt know what it was, I thought it was just a nice coloured Japanese V3 with a wierd fuzzy dragon thing on it lol :p

These are just the few I can remember at the moment, If I remember more I will post them. I always seem to pick up tamagotchis/Vpets for a lower price then they are actualy going at the moment.

Have similar stories and/or questions, then please feel free to post them, as someone, including me, might be able to help you :D

Have a great TamaTalking day guys Xo-Chibi

Sorry for the double post but I can no longer edit my first one :D I was curious to what the reasonable going price was for the following:

- Yasashii - Seen For:$600 and over - Real Price: ?

- DevilGotch - Seen for:$500 and over - Real Price: ?

- TamaOtch - Seen for:$90 - Real Price: ?

I bought my Genjintchi for $25.00. Pixelmood's (outdated) prices state that it's worth $35.00. It's probably a bit lower than that now.

Oh really? Thanks for that :D I thought they looked a little overpriced on ebay at the moment. Im looking to buy another one and I didn't really want to spend over $40 for it, when I saw one today for $120 no joke :S

It actually seems to be the trend lately on places like ebay. I'm kinda sad that I've been seeing a lot of the tamas I don't have in my collection going for what seems an unfair price. There are other places in ebay too that I refuse to buy from such as: electronichandhelds, or Chickeneaters stores. They sell even tamas that we barely miss for upwards of $40 out of package with no instructions (by barely miss I mean like the somewhat newer connections...). I can accept something like the santagotchi and the devilgotchi being expensive cause they haven't made them for nearly 14 years, and heck knows how many of them still survive in working order today. But when people start raising the price of ones that are newer - the price of older ones goes up too it seems.

.... I'll get off my soap box now....

No I know! That's why I'm trying to figure out what everything is worth. I ALWAYS see chickeneater selling used Tamagotchi connections and they are pretty much the priced the same as new ones off the shelf. What worries me is younger or uneducated people getting ripped off, so I thought this thread could help with that. I pretty much buy exclusively from jr-rc (Jasons store) because its always really well priced. And as you said, the connections aren't that old/rare/scarce so would you rather pay $40 for a music star or the same for a Morino or Mothra? It seems within the last maybe month and a half alot of people have jacked the price up for some reason.:S
