Pokemon Pikachu Availability

So I recently got a Pokemon Pikachu from Amazon at a relatively good price but then I noticed that it looked a little worn out. Afraid if it breaking in the near future, I tried looking around on Amazon and Ebay for another one just in case. The one I got from Amazon was about 20 dollars but now the ones I see up right now are 40 dollars or more. I'm not sure whether to buy them at that price or risk waiting. How available is this tamagotchi in general and will it be common enough to drop in price or will it just continue to increase?

The yellow one is sorta rare... but not as rare as that Silver GS pikachu.... I personally would tell you to get it now, but make sure it isn't the one in a pikachu shell... as Reb' said, It has a dinosaur pet inside it. The Silver/color ones are more rare and you need to keep an eye out on the prices.

The Silver Pedometer is a Pokemon Pikachu GS (2). The original is a Pokemon Pikachu (1)... but I'm sure that is enjoyable to veiw on ebay... The Pikachu Shell isn't offical...

The original yellow Pikachu Pedometer pet was one of my favorite keychain type pets. I disliked the second version though. I found it difficult to earn enough watts to keep him happy.

It was mine too for the longest time... I wanted the second version though... I still have the Gamaboy Color to use the GS version... I think the mystery gift helped tons with the GS version.

I TOTALLY had the yellow pikachu pedometer and loved it to death, but it's long gone now. When I saw that they go for $40 a pop on eBay I really kicked myself for not holding on to it. maybe one day I'll replace it.
