Other (stats, hold item, etc.) : So one day my friend and I were using my Action Replay to try and catch a shiny Arceus. We start it up and encounter a pokemon. It's a shiny Gloom. Now I catch it because it looks really cool. So the next pokemon we encounter isn't shiny, and that's when we realized the code was off. So that means although the AR was in my DS, since the code was off my shiny Gloom was legit. I leveled it up a bit and evolved it to a Vileplume; I'm eventually planning to get it to Level 100.

My friend who already beat Pokémon Black allowed me to transfer him onto his Black, then traded it to my game before I beat the game. So the game wasn't that bad, because I had a non-Unova Pokémon before beating the game.

I DO have a Level 100 Feraligatr and a Level 100 Shiny Bonsly, but those aren't as special as Boss. LIKE A BOSS, BOSS!

Danm, you got his Level very high. About the shiny thing, it is quite easy getting a shiny starter. All you need is patience, speedrunning skills, and some luck. Keep selecting the starter you want, get into the first Bianca battle, see if shiny, reset and repeat until it is.
