I recently started my V4 and V2 after a long absence from tamagotchi. My V4 is female, my V2 is male. I connected them throughout the growth cycle with the intention to mate them when both were adults. My V4 (which I hatched one day earlier) evolved into an adult yesterday, but the V2 is still a teenager. When I connected them approximately half an hour ago, imagine my surprise when they mated! Now both Tamagotchi have baby boys present alongside the main charater on their screens.
I ask you, how is this possible? I previously thought that two Tamagotchi had to be adults to mate. Is this a glitch, or is it normal for cross-version connection?
I'll keep you posted as to what happens next, and whether the parents leave as normal.
