I really always loved the Morino, in it's concept from videos and what I've heard from it. Yet I couldn't get one in my own hands, which bummed out big time.

I've been thinking, that the special vintage editions, which the Morino (Angel, Ocean, Devil, and Santa) is part of, are really something cool. It's a different type of Tamagotchi gameplay. Like on the Morino, you need to let it evolve in a cocoon and monitor it's temperature. As well as tapping of it's attackers, or else it could die!

Now I'm about to get the Morino, which I've already ordered and paid for, and it made me make this topic about it.

My questions to all of you are:

Do you like the Morino(No hating or flaming, only constructive and solid arguements please!)?

If so, why?

Do you have one, or do you have more perhaps?

What's your favourite moment with the Morino?

Do you got other Vintage Specials?

Let's get discussing people, let me hear the various opinions you all have!

(Edit: I might be in the wrong subforum, so if that's the case, just move me)

I have one Morino that I got a few years ago NIP. It's the white one with yellow and brown trimming, my favorite design out of the four. I love it. I haven't gotten the chance to run it as often as I'd like but it's always a treat when I do. I think one of my favorite moments with my Morino involves trying to save my little critter from being stomped on. You'll know when it happens; there will be a huge footprint on the screen that you have to tap away.

One feature that I could do without is the "screensaver" feature. When your Morino is inactive, you have more of like a bird's eye view of your bug crawling around in between a couple of trees. I'd rather see my bug close up, inching around on the screen.

Maybe someday when I'm not a poor post-graduate student anymore, I might go for one of every design. That's for collecting purposes though. They're all the same and I'm really pretty content with having just one right now.

As far as vintages go, I have all except for the Santaclautch (which I do plan on getting in the near future) and the Yasashii (not sure if I'll be getting this one yet). I adore vintage Tamagotchis. I do have a collection picture in my signature if you're interested. :) It's not updated but it's the most recent one.

All this Morino talk is getting me in the mood to start mine up! :D Maybe I will once winter vacation rolls around. It certainly hasn't been featured in my log yet.

Thanks for the ones that replied, it's been a pleasure to read your thoughts!

As for OldSchoolTama;

You got a nice collection going on there mate, I sure would switch with mine in the blink of an eye, that's for sure. The screensaver for me is great, cause it breaks the routine display of the critter, which for me is refreshing to say the least ;)

Also, you got grand wishes, just like me, I want atleast all morino designs plus one. One to play with and the rest for collecting, just as the other vintage specials. I am always paranoid of breaking one, or atleast make to many scratches on the screen, that's why I'm bummed out since they are discontinued :p

So yeah, I am getting a Morino just now, it comes in the mail should arrive soon!

Yeah a double post by me, but this one is posted today, instead of yesterday, so it isn't really a double post in essence :p

I've received my Morino today, and am running it now, gotta say, i love this little bugger :D

Like it all, it feels great to have it now, and I need to get another one soon, for collecting purposes :p

Check my log to read about him, and how he progresses, I chose the polka dot, cause it seemed the easier choice for now!
