I have no idea what I'm doing.

Hi guys.

Well, recently I got a Palm Treo phone to send downloads to my iD L.

I got a data cable today and hooked it up to my computer.

Nothing's happening.

Help? Please??

I might be able to help. Could you name the cable that you have and the type of computer you're using?

That's the cable, and I'm not sure what kidn of computer, it's kind of old. Dell, uses windows vista.

It says Inspiron 1525. Is that the model? Lol, I'm so not a computer person

With my Palm Treo, I just made sure that I had the drivers for the phone installed on my computer if they aren't already (pretty easy, just Google Palm Treo drivers and there's usually a free download). Once there's that, I hooked up my phone to my laptop and there should be a window with folders that pops up (if it doesn't automatically pop up, you can always access your phone through "My Computer..." you probably know the drill). I think it's just as simple as dragging and dropping files into the folders from there. After that, you can beam the files over to your iD L.

Ok. I didn't have any software downloaded to my computer, so that's probably what's wrong.
