Opinions on music star or Least favorite tamagotchi

Just making conversation here, can't sleep

So any way, What do people think of the music star? I honestly was a little irritated by it when it first came out just because of the sudden rise in music based things like hannah montana and what not. After I researched it, it sounded fun and I bought it.

I really do enjoy it but I have some issues with it as well, such as

1. Food is hard to get a hold of at times because you can't make money on the games. So if you are not careful with your spendings and your tama eats up all of their food well... you are student out of luck until someone delivers you some cash.

2. Concerts, to be honest I only get annoyed with these because they always have concerts when I am in the middle of something like watching a show .

3. They practice randomly through out the day! Now some people may not have a problem with this, but sometimes I like to sleep in and its hard to do that when every 5 mins *BUUURRRING!* also if you just so happened to forget to turn off the sound and you are sitting in a silent classroom with a bout 15 other students around you when all of a sudden *BUUURRRRING!* It gets quite frustrating after a while I can not lie.

Now for my least favorite tamagotchi, Drum roll please!

The Familitchi! Why? Well for one you can not interact with all of the characters so they might as well not even be there. Again you can't name them [ yeah I know you can just call them what you will but still] The tamatown site or what ever they have is hard to get into and always seems to crash or something. The items tend to be useless and they don't gain any weight so sometimes there is just no point in playing the games, which get tedious. And it is just sooooo easy to take care of! Now for some people this is a good thing but I like a little complication from my tamas, make me work to get that item or secret character, make me care if they die! [Ok that sounds really harsh but personally after playing this tama its something I kind of looking forward to just so I can take out the batteries. [i never do that unless the tama is dead] Which brings me to the next point, they don't die easily! I let my friend take care of my familitchi cause I thought she would enjoy it more than I did, but after a while she hit generation 15 [very easily mind you] and she got bored with it and decided to either wait until the tamas died or until the battery died before she gave it back to me [that is what I told her she could do because I wasn't that eager in getting it back] and it took forever for them to leave! So now, batteries out, it is sitting with my other unused tamagotchis, probably least likely to be played next to the tamago [which is more likely to be played than the familitchi].

Whew! Ok long rant aside, what is everyone's opinion? What is your least favorite tamagotchi and do you have some beef with the music star?

Well I can understand your opinion on the Music Star. I guess all of the features are so the caretaker doesn't get board if they have nothing to do. On a long car ride, the additional features can be fun, but when you are too busy to take them into full effect, they kind of get annoying. An easy way to get LOTS of cash is by getting Pro Debut, when your band gets all three O's from the judges. Then on payday (which I think might be every day, I haven't played with mine for a while), you get tons of cash...maybe try saving up some of the cash for a while and then you'll have plenty to spend on food.

About the familitchi, I kind of agree. It can be fun at first, but it does get a little boring after a while...the games are exciting at first, but not too fun after a while, and the bonding times can get obnoxious because it takes like a gazillion (exaggeration ) bonding times to actually raise it 10%! And, like you said, it's pretty easy to take care of so on those loooong car rides it wouldn't be the best companion.

Long story short, no tama is perfect. These are too wonderful versions with some features that maybe bug us a little, but hey, every tama has things great and special about them!

I agree with you guys completely! Except my least favourite is the music star, not the Familitchi.

I don't have the time to take care of a music star, and like everyone said, they get really annoying sometimes!

But I actually sort of like the Familitchi because you get a whole family to take care of, and I don't have to worry about weight and stuff. The only thing that I focus on really is the bonding points!

So yeah, I think every tamagotchi has its pros and cons, and even though my least favourite is the Music Star, I still actually like to play with it sometimes!

Well come to think of it now I think the reason I dislike the familitchi so much is because it didn't live up the potential it could have had. There is so much that could have been done to it but it just fell short! It's disappointing to say the least. I kind of would like to see it redone, maybe then I would like it.

The Familitchi was my least favorite version, but I only used it at a time when I had all of this school work to worry about and when I was doing sports. I was too busy too pay much attention to it. I'm hoping to use it again at a time when I'm not so busy, possibly during winter break this year. Maybe I'll end up liking it more.

Music star you can't do much. Every time I ran out of food I thought my tamagotchi was gonna need a meal ticket. I'm surprised they don't have a soup kitchen.

Music Star is awesome, I love it! Sometimes it can get a little annoying with the gigs and what-not but overall I'd say it's a nice version.

My least favourite tamaotchi is also the familitchi because the characters get boring after the first fifteen generations coz the never change , and the game are really rubbish! the only good one is golf puts and that one's locked till you get parents! loooooomg.

Onto the Music Star however, i think it's awesome! the buttons are too unresponsive though, which is annoying! also, the music points which are achieved from playing the games, are too long to max out on. It takes me two hours of non-stop playing of the games to reach 999 on all three different types of music point which is slightly annoying, but when you get them all during your baby and begginning child/toddler (or whatever you call it) and then that way you just get him to practise play, and enjoy yourself until the teen stage, when you meet your band. the pro debut judging should pass first time if you have all three at 999 no problem for that, and then the money will be rolling in, and you do get paid everyday if you do the concert! i get paid 1 000 000 every concert, so i have it made, and i've already got 230 000 000 roughly thereabout. i love the door icon that they put on to replace the telly i think, but its great! so those are my thoughts, and this weekend im going to try to make alog on a weekeng will my music star, and i can't remember which stage im at! (if it's good, i'll keep it and go from there, otherwise i'll reset!)

Music star is my fav. I need the extra attention, hah... I Ususally have my Tamas on pause during High school, but I still tote it around in my pocket, why? well I just like reaching into my jacket and feeling those little eggers in my hand, for a long while I had no money for batteries, but I still carried around my v2, why? it was reasuuring. What I love is that: It doesn't have that stupid antenna! my only complaint is Button lag. lol. me playing sound jump:

WHA-? JUMP! JUMP YOU LITTLE PIXEL THING! I PRESSED THE BUTTON! oh, you lost, I told you to jump y'know.

Tama: *Rolls eyes* I already got all my skill points and pro debut, why do we have to do this?

Me: so you don't get fat.

Tama: But I don't care if I get-

Tama:Nevermind.

I love it because I play the Violin, and since The Violin is in the inventory... well let's just say that When I put my Tama on th music stand half the time I look at it I die. why? because half the time I look it's practicing it's itsy Violin.

Other than the iDL the Music star is my Fav.

My opinion for music star is that it's really cool. The sound is great, the games and items are also pretty cool. I also understand your opinion howerver all tamas go Briiiiiinggg, not to be mean.

I love the music star. I think it's a lot of fun. My least favorite is the familitchi. It's just not as fun as the other versions.

Yeah, what I mean is the music star goes brinnnnng every 5 mins it seems when its practicing. My others hardly ever make that much noise, but don't get me wrong I do enjoy it I just can't stand when it wakes me up in the morning practicing.

My favourite will be Music Star. I liked it alot and I can't find it x( Familitchi is rather boring. No wonder they sold it for so cheap in Sinagpore. Tama-go is cute but its rather fat... Which is hard to sneak to school. And i dont wanna spend so much money buying Tama-go figurines... So it be better if Tama-go have more games that doesn't require the figurines. All versions are great. But i left them somewhere at home and can't find them anymore. Hmmmm i guess i should start finding them.

Ahhh i get what ya mean. That wierd noise when they practice, i agree with you on that one, especially when you wanna wake up really late in the weekends and they keep annoying you. But the other parts are really cool.

I really don't like either the music star or familitchi

The music star gets too far from the original concept: That of having and raising a little digital pet. I want a pet to take care of not a music group to manage. I have no interest in that sort of thing.

Familitchi isn't as bad as music star, but I still don't like the idea of having multiple creatures on one device. And if you can't even interact with everyone in the family it's all sort of pointless anyway.

Neither Familitchi nor Music Star are bad. Familitchi is really fun, and I was upset when mine broke. Music Star is one of the best versions. It's fun to collect awards!

They still sell music stars! I hope to get one!!

I was really enjoying it but it seemed I could not buy it food unless I went into tamatown.... unless I was doing something wrong. This lead to my character starving >.<

My local places that had V6s have Tama-Gos instead. ,
