A young girl danced through the forest in her newly painted red dress.
Though she was dying.....
Dying slowly from a head injury she had received..
Her crimson blood splattered the snow with every jubilant twirl...
She was happy it was almost over....
The pain, blood, and tears....
Finally, she fell dead.
On her face was a sweet smile.
The sweetest you'll ever see.
But the longing in her eyes...
Like that of someone in a picture staring out from their frame.
Wanting to live again.

It was nearly Christmas and the pure snow lightly blanketed everything. A young girl was running, running away from the misery she's been in this past year. She needed a getaway; somewhere she could relax and let go of everything. She ran through the streets , looking for that place. That one place she so desired. She tripped over her own feet and came tumbling down, she lay there for a few minutes, letting her blood cool. She then stood up, freezing from the thin, long, flowing white dress she was wearing. She drew in a sharp, ragged breath when she felt a stabbing pain in the back of her head. Would she end here? Questions rang through her head as she fell to the ground and let the icy embrace of the snow chill her body. She then slipped into a sleep that she wished was her last. She awoke in the forest, her dress had turned red from the blood she had spilled. She arose and knew she was in her last moments. It was a snowy winter day. The young girl was dancing through the forest in her newly painted red dress. Though she was dying. Dying slowly from the head injury she had received. Her crimson blood splattered the snow in astounding patterns with every jubilant twirl. Her mind was spinning with silent farewells. Finally, she fell dead. On her face was a sweet, sweet smile. the sweetest you'll ever see. But the longing in her eyes, like that of someone in a picture staring out from their frame..... Wanting to live again.
