Ainol Electronics is updating their Novo 7 tablet to support the latest Android OS, version 4.0 ("Ice Cream Sandwich"). This tablet runs a 1GHZ Ingenic processor, and uses a capacitive touch screen (much like the touch sensor on the iPad and similar tablets). It seems to run Android 4.0 very good considering its bargain-basement price, but some Android apps may not run on the Novo 7 (due to the fact that it uses a processor based on the MIPS architecture, instead of the ARM architecture most Android devices run on). It just released in China, and the Novo 7 will later be rebranded for sale in the USA (and likely other countries).
