It's a pretty accepted belief that when you die, that's it, right?
Not in some cases. Depending on your state of mind and how you died, you may choose to linger on as - in the simplest possible sense - a ghost, whether this be because you feel it wasn't your time to die and there's more stuff you want to do or simply because you feel like causing chaos for the people that ended you and other people to boot.
Someone's gotta keep this under control, right?
Enter the Psychics, which are (as you'd expect) a group of people with psychic abilities working either alone or together. Their self-given job is to basically keep the 'ghost population', if you like, under control by helping the ghosts move on and leave the human world...
With whatever tactics they need to use depending on the ghost at hand.

Okay, so a little bit of background information is needed:
So yeah, basic TT rules and RP rules, no Mary Sues/Gary Stus, literacy, etc, etc. If you're playing a psychic, don't go too overboard with the unique power, e.g. invincibility. That's a big no-no. Also, I need to accept your forms before you start.

- The ghosts can hold a solid form for short bursts, the length of which depending on how long they're been in the human world as a ghost for.
- The psychics have the same set of powers as each other plus one unique power. The set of powers that they all share are the ability to, duh, see the ghosts (whether they want to or not...), see people's auras (handier than it sounds, as ghosts in human form don't have auras, making them easy to spot among humans) and they have the ability to channel the ghost to help them 'move on', if you like.
