iD L Packing and Leaving?!

So a few days ago I noticed the screen of my iD L light up. I thought it was curious that it would do this without me pressing the buttons, so I looked on screen and saw a horrific sight.

My Kutchipatchi was all packed up and ready to leave.

My first reaction was to press the reset button and press download, but he was still packed.

My second reaction was to press the clover button, but it made the "deny" noise.

My third reaction was to take the batteries out and put them back in. He was still packed.

So right now the batteries are out and he's at the same stage. I really really don't want him to leave...So I ask:

How do you get rid of a tamagotchi iD L from leaving?

I don't think you can, love.

I've never had my Tama pack and leave, though I have had a couple die on me.

As far as I have been made aware, the TMGO's, and the newer Tamagotchi versions, take their leave and act all disappointed in you for making their living conditions so terrible that they want to leave...

There's nothing you can do but start over. Which in and of itself can be absolutely heart breaking.

Yes, i think you should try tamalover's solution, if not i think you should reset it, unfortunately

That would be fabulous, and rather cute haha.

Yeah, i can imagine, it will look very cute but if u send it outside it might think you are forcing it to leave so it might leave anyway so be carefull about what you do.

I'm thinking don't reset it outright. Just wait till he runs away (doesn't look like you can do anything to prevent this) and then press A and C simultaneously. This will restart your iD L but your items, money, characters collected, etc. should still be there. You shouldn't have to do a hard reset and lose all your items.

You need to seriously make him really happy. Candy in the food menu... Games... If he decides to stay.... But if you get him to go outside (Like normal) the flowers should work. I hope you can get him to stay.

Yeah I agree with this. Then maybe your new Tama might have a connection with your old one. This is what I always think. So don't get rid of all his/her stuff. It could come in handy later.

Keep pressing the clover as many times as until it makes the select sound.

Press the clover until it lets you, when it does, your Tamagotchi will go into the courtyard and huge sunflowers that say either tamatomo (Tama friend in Japaneese) or something along the lines of "I'm sorry". Your character will be shocked and delighted and go back inside, feed it and give it snacks or play games immediately after.
