What is this pet?! 24 in 1 Gyaoppi Chip

I am wondering if anyone has ever seen or heard of this V-Pet before. It's actually quite fun... It is a 24 in 1 and has many choices of pets including a horse! <3 It has 9 functions (stats, feed, connect?, weight lifting, shower/toilet, educate, medicine, game (falling triangles), and lights on/off (when off it shows a city with lights).) Looks like it used to have a cover to it that would flip down. It has 4 buttons (a select, b confirm, c cancel, d reset (I shaved off the reset button because it scared me that I might press it, now I will need a pointy object to reset!-- much better!)

I am just curious if anyone know what the connect feature is, and what it is supposed to connect to... Or if anyone has any other information on this cool little pet!

Well, i'm pretty sure the Gyoappis ever had the flip and the were never like that?
