Hey everyone - I found an app on the iTunes app store called Hatchi. The app draws a lot of similarity to vintage-era Tamagotchis without actually being branded as one. The gameplay is fairly straight forward and simple, perhaps not as "complex" as the P1/P2 Tamas. It costs $0.99 and I believe it's available to all US and Canadian users.

The app is pretty cute, the sound effects are very 80s-esque and I think a lot of people will have fun with this app. Especially those who don't have a Tamagotchi, but have an iPad, iPod touch or iPhone.

It looks pretty cool, but I'd prefer to wait for an official Tamagotchi app to be release.

It's not half bad! I got it, and I would suggest getting it, but it should have at least one minigame.
