Hi! When I as eight, I got my V3 Tama. I have only recently got back into them and I currently only have the one. It is, however very durable and working just as it did when I was 8. (Only I'm better at taking care of them than I was) I'm wondering- How do you build up your collection? I'm living off of allowance, and creating things for my mom's buisness (50 cents for hot gluing a stick to foam circle)

So, my question is-

What Tamagotchi should I begin with to start off collecting?

How do you build up your collection?

How do you go about taking care of your collection?

Late night stalking. (Ebay, Amazon...etc) Trying the bids knowing its possible to loose... or the price to go higher then you want.

Start slow... Pick a few you would really like to have in your collection... Save for those ones.

Its also good to take a few dollars from your allowance and then when you have enough... Spend it then.

Yes. Start out with the Tamas that you want, and then after you've gotten them all, start "seriously" collecting. The Connections are great to start out with. Id' say that after you can prove that you can "stick with Tamas" for, 1 month, 5 months, whatever- a set amount of time for yourself- then you could get an iD L or Japanese color versions, b/c (and most people agree) they're the best. ;D

When you have too many to stick in your jewelry box (or wherever you kept them), then find a shoebox or metal lunchbox or something of the sort. Put them in there, maybe with some saline packets. Keep them in a dry, shady place! :)

I've also been wondering this, so I'm thankful that this question was posted! Haha:) I, myself, only have one tama (a Tama-Go) and I've become pretty interested in them again. So I had been wondering how to start up a collection of tamas once more! Haha:) Thanks for the help!

And I do agree with starting out with the connections, only because they're not as expensive as the iD L or the Color versions, or the tamagotchi ocean version. So, that's a good. I've been wanting to get myself more tamas, because I remember I had my favorites. ;) So it would be great to have them all again! :)
