Spirits are destined

eternally in time

distance separates

souls forever entwined.

dancing upon my skin.

with your trance like stare

drawing me in, closer

to your mysterious lair.

It seems as a fairytale,

to good to be true

I'm falling in love,

falling... right into you.

Allow sound-

reverberate

Stereophonic-

speakers pound

...Spinning slow

needle dragging

...echoes evaporate.

Crisp season beginning,

ending rapid sun.

Faint breeze bringing,

taking summer fun.

Plush trees singing,

weeping yellowed leaves.

Autumn colds spinning,

twisting midnight eves.

Please stay

stay beside me

tell me

it is... alright.

I'll share my heart

with only you

please...

just hold me tight.

Listen to the sounds

empty noise is heard for miles

so I close my eyes.

everday

free your mind

to another time...

allow your soul

to linger,

just a little longer...

while you slept

not even knowing

you wouldn't be kept.

while you grew

not even thinking

you would pass through.

while you swam

not even showing

you, who I am.

I once carried you

just to let you fall

not even realizing

it would be my fault.

Fresh Slice

These spaces we’re between

Because the lines were never seen,

Trap us within delusion

And so our worlds become unclean

 

What tune we followed

Since our lives were hollow

Sung us to disaster

And left our love to wallow

 

This time was too late

Suspended beauty in wait

Crumbling our card house

And erasing our fate.

Junction Trail Fantasy

 

Shallow footsteps

Line a path of hidden sorrow

Blackened leaves are stained

and rain left tears upon the pebbles

So you continue to walk

Mud covered toes carrying you along

With only your dreams in your head

Hoping for him to appear

While his scent surrounds you

But he’ll never show

And from a perfumed breeze

You shiver

The tunnel of trees lies ahead

And this lonely walk

Will be your fantasy

But there is no story to follow

You will create your own.

Hopelessly - 12/8/09

 

She said that I could find him

Waiting on my doorstep

 

But he was never there

and I turned black

 

It was strange

I think he knew

 

My head in my hands

I felt only darkness

 

And another day came

To sweep me away

 

Every night that space

Continued on empty

 

It wasn’t lust

He was only scared

 

So I’ll just keep chasing

A lonely doorstep.

Warmth of love

And breath of one

 

I will perch here

And soak the sun

 

You shelter me

And keep me safe

 

So I shall live

Yet another day
