Mysterious Diet Tamagotchi?

A mysterious tamagotchi like toy appeared on ebay recently and the seller has no information on it at all. But from what I can make out of it is that it has something to do with health and fitness seeing as to how I can made out the word "diet" and I see flying food and even a scale on the packaging.

oh I don't know, its definitely not a tamagotchi ( No Bandai sign)

If its about diet and fitness I'd guess its a sort of pedometer?

 
Shouldn't this be in the Tamagotchi Warnings fourm?

It's a fake because:

1. Tamagotchis are normally in a circle or egg shape

2.It has no Bandai logo on it.

3. It should say in japanese letters as "たまごっち" for Japanese Tamagotchi's, or Tamagotchi for Europe or US. If not, it might be a fake.

No.

It's not a fake Tamagotchi, it's just a virtual pet.

 
They never said it was a 'fake' tamagotchi. Not all virtual pets that aren't tamagotchis are 'fake' tamagotchis. This user was simply trying to identify what type of virtual pet it was. Personally, I don't understand all of this 'fake tamagotchi' business. There are virtual pets out there that aren't tamagotchis.

fake tama's are virtual pets that claim to be tama's when they are not bandai and they are often really boring and break within 1 day
