Some people on tamatown I see have 100 votes. What does it mean if you get votes and can It raise your cd up? and what does votes do?

The more Votes you have means the higher ranking you will get out of the whole competition.
But it mostly depends on what ranking your CD is to begin with because if you ebter with a 10th Bronze you won't get a very High Ranking in the Competition but if you have a First Gotchi Gold and 100 Votes and you do the Music Note Game in the Competition Hall PERFECTLY you are in the running for the top Positions.
Yes it does raise your CD Level and your Normal Level up until Lv. 50.
