Hi, I was just wondering, what are your favourite memories of Tamas you've have in the past, and do you have special memories of getting any? I have 23 and they've all been unboxed, run, sneaked into school, half-broken, fixed, ruined with permanent marker then left on a shelf for six months. What about you? I have endless memories of Tamagotchis, but I'll post my top ten:

1. Joining TamaTalk. Second best thing in my life, after swimming with dolphins.
2. Getting my TMGC+C, which was delayed for a month. Third best thing in my life.
3. Getting my first ever Tama back in 2006, a translucent purple V4. Fourth best moment of my life.
4. Rediscovering Tamas in 2009 while looking for $50, and whoa was that worth more than $50!! Fifth best moment of my life.
5. A load of arguments with my brother about who's Tamas were who's. About 100 worst moments of my life.
6. Getting my Tama-Go for my 10th birthday. It was a kind gift, but I already had 4...worst moment of my life...
7. Getting Tamagotchi Corr Shop 3! I never thought there was a Tamagotchi DS game!
8. Watching Tamagotchi The Movie - I mean, I thought Tamas were just little toys before I came across that!
9. Discovering there are several TAMAGOTCHI SONGS!! I thought I hated movies and music before I found these amazing things!
10. Waking up every morning and seeing my Tama collection, looking forward to another day of looking for new Tamas, saving up for a new Tama, listening to the Tama song, playing the Tama DS game and taking care of my life-changing virtual pets! :D I do it every day, which makes it even better than a normal, one-time memory! :)

So, what do you remember? Posting all this brings back even more memories...

oh gosh, i've got so many that i can't remember much at all...xD
i guess the best ones would be:
-seeing a tamagotchi for the first time and watching its owner play with it
-finally being allowed to go and pick out my tamagotchi-there was a wall covered with them
-finally beiing allowed to open my first tama, a pink ribbons V3
-getting my iD L after waiting for 4 long, painful days (i didn't know about it until ten days after it was ordered xD)
-my first school sneak (last year...when i started logging)
but the two best of the best were:
-finally picking up my V4.5, the only one with batteries, and playing with it after er...3 years?
-finding tamatalk because of my V4.5 (long story...)

Seeing your tamagotchi and thinking,,
-I used to love those things. Maybe I could love them again somehow.. :)
-Getting one for the first time and thinking WOW! Theese are so cool!
-When I was small, getting nits from putting my head together when I conected with someone elses tamagotchi!
-Seeing yours in your pencil case and thinking 'Is that a tamagotchi? I used to have one of those!'

That is all from me!

When I was in third grade, Tamas were the "in" thing, and there was a point where everybody was sneaking them into school. We'd pull them out at recess and run to the far corner of the school playground so that we could connect and fill up our friend list...the school banned Tamas shortly after, but it was awesome while it lasted :D Some of the kids had complained about getting the same character over and over, and to this day, if I get a Takotchi, I'll be thinking, "Huh, that's Michaela's character, isn't it?" There are a lot of characters that make me think something like that, actually.

Yay, your first post outside your log! :D I'm glad I shared in those memories...although I thought you were going to tell on me when you saw it in my pencil case, lucky you didn't or my first ever Tama would be dead! Lol, your first Tama was supposed to be for your birthday, but we opened our identical V5s up a month early, XD.

Haha back in high school is when the V1's first came out, around 2003/2004. My two best friends and I were in Zeller's at the time and we saw them in the toys section, and naturally being excited to see the return of Tamas after 1996/1997, my one friend and I immediately bought a Tama each. My other friend wouldn't stop making fun of us, all day she'd rag on us for playing with our Tamas. One night we were all sleeping in my friends room when I heard a beeping noise, it turned out to be my 'Tama-hating' friend, she was playing games and feeding my Tama. XD XD XD BUSTED!!

Where can I find the Tamagotchi Anime?

Lol, I assume you have a Tamagotchi-themed birthday party because you are way more obsessed with Tamas than I am! I consider having one this year if my mom will ever let me, but I'd only be able to invite one friend (the one who loves Tamas) because everyone else would say I liked babyish cartoons or whatever.

Oh, I have PLENTY of memories of giving people in my class the simplest science lesson: "It's not hard, there's a different between Tamagotchis and plastic easter eggs, Tamagotchis are electronic and most plastic is not, it doesn't even conduct electricity! Just accept it, Tamagotchis are far cooler than plastic!" And all THEY do to reward my voluntary teaching is: "SHUT UP!!!!!!"

Why do I have to live in the UK of all places?! You get TMGO figures in stores in the USA, iD L's in stores in Japan, fast Japan Tama shipping in Asia and now a Tamagotchi TV programme in Australia! It's not fair...and no, we don't get Tamas in stores at all here anymore, they're obsessed with toddler toys nowadays.

That really sucks. I feel the same. Except for the no tamagotchis in stores anymore part, I still found some in Canada. :)

It's in Japanese too, there are a few on Youtube, I think Bandai Japan deleted most of them though. I haven't seen a Tamagotchi anywhere for months, its pretty sad. :(

These are somewhat out of order...

1) Getting my first Tamagotchi, a v4.
2) Rediscovering Tamagotchi in 2009 when I found my v5 in my closet.
3) Carefully opening the package of my first color Tamagotchi, the Tamagotchi iD.
4) Playing with Music Stars and v5s with my Tama-Loving Friend over the summer.
5) Running six Tamagotchis at once last summer while I was on vacation. :)
6) Carefully opening my Tama Profy, my first Tamagotchi that has to do with the anime series.
7) Discovering and joining Tama Talk and starting my very first Tamagotchi log (That's still going!) two years ago in October with my v5. :)
8) Going on Music City for the first time before I got my Music Star as a guest.
9) Getting my Tama-Go in the mail and ripping open the package (kind of carefully :P ) because I was so excited to get it.

It makes me so happy, thinking of all of my Tamagotchi memories. :)

Picking out my first tama... I named it Blackie. Still works.
Getting my IDL (Marshmellow) in the mail/ Buying it myself on Ebay.
Getting my 15th Anni.
My Linkrun, My god... Rare, Got it cheap,($100 or more, easily) The package smells like GOOD Italian food still. (Its not quite a tama, but it is Bandai...)
My first Tama-Go, Earned that puppy. (Not a favorite, but still valued)
When I found Tamagotchi came back in the connection generations. (V1)
