proof that it's a fake:

- the shape and size of the screen

- the amount of buttons

- not based off of a real version

- has bloated bandai symbol, making it a fake and not just a different type of toy etc.

That isn't a "fake." To me, a fake is something that's passed off as a Bandai Tamagotchi product when it clearly is not. You can clearly see the Bandai logo on the packaging. Furthermore, I have one of those. It's a Mame Game, a tetris-like game of sorts (hence all the buttons you see). It's a genuine Bandai Tamagotchi product, just not a virtual pet in the traditional sense. In any case, Jason (jr-rc) is a very reputable seller. He wouldn't try to sell fakes.

 
I was wondering why there was the real bandai logo on there. It's real and true! :)
