Do you mean the Tama-go? Because you can't buy Tamatown, it's owned by Bandai...

Of course it is! It's worth buying any Tamagotchi at least once, and giving it a go. I imagine, from version to version, the Tamagotchi has a few differences that aren't in earlier versions, so the same will apply to the TamaTown Tama-Go. And it's not such a hard price to pay, even if you only play it for a short while (unlike the iD L).
