this is sort of like the cousions of tamagotchi. :D

1. Kawaii pet Megu

This game is more like littlest pet shop and tamagotchi mixed. It's free and It's not too girly. It's a fun game and the pet does not need to be put to bed and they love to be taken out for walks. it evolves and you can shop for food, furniture and potions (potions are only if you have in-app purchase on) You can go for walks, go on adventures to look for rare items, play ball toss, and either challenge stray MEGU's to either a sumo or a race. Your MEGU has a weird concept, because there is a plug on the end of its tail, and it charges itself sometimes. It's like a robot  but looks like a pet.

2.Petmonsters

IMPORTANT! You NEED to upgrade your ipod/iphone to IOS 5 in order to get this app.

Petmonsters is more like tamagotchi.Your pet evolves from an egg to a baby to a child to a teen to an adult. You can feed and clean up after your pet. This game is free. For all the pokemon fans, it does have just a hint of pokemon in it, the battling part. You have to train your monster using the weight icon and with the sword icon, you have to fight with other monsters. I think it's fun to watch them grow.

3. Hatchi

:hitodetchi: Hatchi is the one that is most like tamagotchi. When your hatchi is a baby, he looks like this. :babytchi: Only much bigger. He evolves, too. This is a free game as well, I think. There are mini-games on this app, such as whack-a-hatchi, roshambo, and hatchi-catchi. There is a shop, and as yuor hatchi evolves and matures, he will be more ready to be released in the wild, but don't worry :mimitchi: You can stil see him!

4. virtual PETs

This is not an ipod app, but for my tamagotchi fans (obviously here) this little toy looks a lot like tamagotchi. It does not have the cute tamagotchi characters, but it does have 49 characters you can choose from including elephant, sheep, mouse, dog, and hamster. It takes a while for you to "move in" or let your animal hatch. It beeps when needs things and there are 4 buttons. A,b,c,and d.You will get an instruction manual for this, so it's okay. You can get them at big lots on Beachmont Ave. in Ohio, and if you don't live in cincinnati, you can look up

I use Megu. I enjoy it. I find it very cute and it is easy to earn coins to buy items.

I am so glad you tried that app. It's fun, isn't it. I love the cute MEGUs. It's so cool that you charge your device while on MEGU, and MEGU will "charge up", too!
