A Funny Fiasco of a Poem
You make me get up early
When I would rather be sleeping.
You distract me when I’m busy
With your loud, high beeping.
You hatch into a girl
When I wanted a boy.
You should be practicing,
But you are playing with a toy.
It doesn’t matter.
It doesn’t annoy me.
Because you’re my best friend.
You’re a TAMAGOTCHI!
You fail the audition.
You miss out on the concerts.
When I discipline you,
You cry as if it hurts.
You never win the award
Or you don’t play the right song.
And win an award I already have.
You seem to do everything wrong.
But that’s not important,
Because now I see
That I would do anything
For my TAMAGOTCHI!
You evolve into someone ugly
When I wanted someone cute.
You want to play the guitar
When I want you to play the flute.
You don’t make enough money
And I can’t afford to feed you.
Before I can take you to the bathroom,
You use the floor to doo.
But I soon forget it all,
And I still feel happy.
Because I’m lucky to have you
As my TAMAGOTCHI!
