Hi guys! I'm finally starting to chronicle my iD L adventures after five generations!

The first five generations were all boys - Mametchi, Kuromametchi, Kuishinbotchi, Sunopotchi and Prince Mametchi. Finally, after five generations, our first girl has been born!

Welcome Momoirotchi! We did a bit of gardening work shortly after she was born, and she seems like she had the green thumb!

20120531499.jpg
20120531500.jpg

After an hour of gardening, she evolved into a Paletchi! After a while we decided that it's time we did a general cleaning of the house. And as a reward for a job well done, we remodeled the living room to look like a Hanami Festival! Just right for the spring season!

20120531507.jpg
20120531510.jpg
20120531511.jpg

Whew, that was a long and tiring day!

20120531513.jpg

Off to Dreamland... see you tomorrow!

Before we continue the adventures, I'd like to say hi to my readers tamatown123 and KarinaBM13! Thanks for tuning in!

Upon waking up, Paletchi discovered that the living room has been set up with birthday decorations. So who's having the party today? It's Nachuratchi!

20120601514.jpg
20120601515.jpg

After having a slice of her birthday cake for breakfast, we decided to drop by the Donut Park. Great timing, because today happens to be "Green Day", where we get to meet the Eco Guys in person and help them clean the park. In return for our efforts in saving the planet, we received an Eco Fork! For those who didn't know, everyone who has an Eco Fork gets to eat at the TamaCafe for 50% off on all snacks! :D

20120601518.jpg
20120601519.jpg

(Rough) Translation: "Today is Green Day! Let's clean up the trash!"

Apparently we couldn't use the Eco Fork until she becomes a teen... oh wait, she just did! She's now a Painaputchi! :D

20120601521.jpg

I decided to go for Melodytchi this time, because I like her Henshinjo kimono form, so the next day we spent the rest of the day playing games to get money to have the room remodeled into a Japanese-style house.

20120602529.jpg
20120602530.jpg
20120602526.jpg

(Rough) Translation: "We have many different games! Get Gotchi Points!"

I'll be keeping a close watch on Painaputchi and make sure she gets two care misses for us to get Melodytchi. *fingers crossed*

Thanks for dropping by, everyone! The dialogues on the characters are actually fun, and since I can already speak elementary-level Japanese (and still learning), I'll do everything I can to share the fun and translate them as much as I can. ;)

to be continued...

I started the rest of the day making two care misses. She started calling me out the moment her Hungry meter went empty. I couldn't bear to see her in distress, but it is necessary for Melodytchi.

She even got sick after the first care miss, but I was able to immediately administer her medicine. The second care miss went well without anything bad happening, though.

20120602531.jpg
20120602532.jpg

Translation: "Ichiro!" (she's calling my name for attention)

We went outside and noticed that it's still raining, but since there's not much to do at home we went to the Donuts Park and have a chat with anyone who's there.

She came across someone (didn't know her name... anyone?) and she expressed her huge cravings for fluffy and crispy desserts like a stuffed pichipichi.

20120602538.jpg
20120602539.jpg

It was still kind of boring at home, so I decided to hook up the USB IrDA and install a new game for her, which is Kuromametchi's Soba Delivery. We spent the entire rainy afternoon playing.

Just before it gets dark, Painaputchi has successfully evolved into a Melodytchi! Since I already have the kimono outfit (bought earlier by one of her grandfathers), I immediately took her to the Henshinjo to get her dressed up!

20120603557.jpg
20120603558.jpg
20120603559.jpg

Before going to bed, she visited her grandfather Sunopotchi and decided to have dinner there as well.

20120603562.jpg
20120603563.jpg

Word of warning: Apparently she didn't like the food that Sunopotchi prepared for her, but it took care of her hunger meter nonetheless. At least now we know we should to turn down Sunopotchi's cooking (for Melodytchi) next time. :p

Nothing much happened to Melodytchi today. It was still raining in the morning, but it stopped in the afternoon and finally gave way to clear night skies!

She called up her neighbors Mimitchi, Pipospetchi and Akaspetchi to play jump ropes underneath the bright moonlight.

20120603576.jpg
20120603590.jpg
20120603591.jpg

Basketball? Well, the past generations were all boys, and it seemed like our little princess here has inherited her grandfathers' love for vigorous activities. And she seemed to be good at them despite her heavy kimono!

They played so hard that she was perspiring quite a lot, so I took her to a walk down Donuts Park, then we came across a cute little Rubitchi and she begged me to adopt it!

20120603583.jpg
20120603585t.jpg

...and she didn't stop there. She asked me for another remodel but she wanted it to retain the Japanese room theme. I've been intending to spoil her for a while, so I converted this wallpaper from the iD to the iD L for just for her.

20120603589.jpg

She seemed to like it! :D Hopefully she'd feel completely happy and contented. She told me that she'll be giving me her final symbol (and a Stamp of Approval as a Tamatomo) sooner than expected!

Before we continue with the stories, my blue and green iD L's arrived in the mail! YAY!

Melody Hime and I were watching the rain nourish the seed that we planted early today when she finally got her final Happy Symbol.

She was so happy that she asked for my TamaTomo notebook and stamped her image of approval on page 17.

Then it's time for her to "graduate" and get married. So despite the rainfall we made our way to the matchmaker.

She immediately fell for the well-suited Shinshitchi.

Shortly after getting married, she gave birth to a bouncing little Nittobotchi. Another boy in the family, eh?

She played with him for a little bit and sang him a lullaby. When little Nittobotchi fell asleep, she thanked me for taking good care of her, and she told me that she's confident that her little boy is in good hands.

With that she kissed him goodbye and quietly left. Nittobotchi woke up and asked me to bring out the boom box. It seems like he's aspiring to become a music star someday.

20120604612.jpg
20120604614.jpg
20120604619.jpg

After an hour of care, little Nittobotchi has evolved into Fruitspantchi!

20120604620.jpg
20120604621.jpg

This time I'm not aiming for any character in the growth chart, because I'm planning to pair him up with either my blue/green iD L (I haven't decided which of them I will open) so that I could unlock Hirotchi once he becomes a teen.

I'll only be using the second iD L to unlock the four characters that requires connection, then after that I will be putting it back into its box.

Thanks for staying tuned, everyone! :)

A huge shoutout goes to Princess Lovelitchi! Thank you for your continuous patronage. :D

I woke up this morning and found out that Fruitspantchi has evolved into a Bokuhoshitchi! And he's still into his music. I'm starting to think that he wants to transfer his residence from the iD L to my V6, which is currently tabbed up.

20120606624.jpg
20120606628.jpg

When is it going to stop raining!? It's been raining already for five days in a row!

We were about to plant but the weather's just too lousy, so we just stayed home.

20120606627.jpg

I recalled that if we are to get Hirotchi, we need at least six connections to different friends. I (carefully) unboxed my green iD L and did a few hatch-connect-reset cycles for him to get 6 new friends.

They played that see-saw game and that photo album feature is cool! Both tamas get a copy of the picture with their names on it!

20120606623.jpg

I made seven different connections just to be sure. And I didn't stop there. I also made two care misses so in case Hirotchi didn't work out, we'll end up as Kuchipatchi.

Either ways, I'm getting a unique Tamatomo. But we'll still keep our fingers crossed for Hirotchi. Bokuhoshitchi is now sound asleep and is due for an evolution first thing in the morning.

Let's hope for the best! :)

Greetings to you, Eternal Mametchi Fan! Hope my logs are still keeping everyone wide awake.

Remember the "Mission Hirotchi"? Great news! It worked, but...

20120607629l.jpg
20120607631.jpg
20120607659.jpg

Yeah, he came out a bit dirty-looking due to his hyperactive lifestyle and a bit of a warm bath did the trick!

He's happy to keep his cape from his teen years.

I never thought I'd unlock one of the special Tamatomos, good thing I got a good deal for those two iD Ls.

Hirotchi looks really cute, isn't he? Mametchi is my favourite but it seems like this cute little saving-the-world guy will make Mametchi kind of uneasy on the top spot.

It looks like I'm going to be keeping him for a little while longer since I'm in no rush in getting all Tamatomo stamps.

At least now I'm guaranteed to get all 32 and unlock all the destinations someday.

20120607642.jpg
20120607677.jpg

Guitar Hero(tchi)?

We worked on his happy symbols and he got one of them by using his grandfather Kuromametchi's guitar.

He really has a passion for music, eh? He's starting to think that I'm using a V6 and not an iD L, LOL. Suppose I reactivate my V6 and beam him over there, would he be happier?

20120607663.jpg

Finally, the rain has stopped! We went to the park and adopted an adorable Chitchi.

Before the day ended, our little hero dropped by his mother's place for a quick bite.

Melodytchi was very delighted to see her son all grown-up and she gave me a thumbs-up!

20120607664.jpg
20120607670.jpg

I'm really liking Hirotchi more and more. Other than his superhero stuff, he has that microphone too that I have no idea how it gets from the left ear to the right ear, but it looks like he also has the makings of a concert star!

Stay tuned for more adventures! Hopefully tomorrow we could go out and do more fun stuff.

Bonus Picture!

It's already 9:23 PM and he's still awake! It looks like 10 PM is his bedtime so we played around with the closet and I tried to put Sunopotchi's old goggles on him and he looks freaking hilarious! :D

Going for a night swim? LOL

Huge props and my gratitude goes to FelazingAround for the very thoughtful and encouraging feedback! The support I've got is more than what I've initially thought. Stay wonderful! ;)

It's very much fun having Herotchi around! We spent the entire day living Like A V6!

Before our mini-concert began, we dressed him up in his Tuxedo (one of his Happy Items) and he looks just as sharp!

After dressing up, we braved the rain and did a bit of a warm-up by playing jumping ropes (still being similar to the V6) with the neighbours and at the same time handing out his concert invitations! This is one smart boy!

20120609685.jpg
20120609693.jpg

The concert went smoothly. He played really well that everyone gave him a standing ovation at the end! It was a night to remember.

20120609687.jpg
20120609689.jpg
20120609696.jpg

A job well done deserves a good break, too! So we headed over to the Cafe and he finally get to use the Eco Fork! :D

20120609694.jpg
20120609695.jpg

Rough Translation: "Oh, welcome! What will you have for today?"

He had such a great time, that after going back home he finally gave me his stamp of approval! :D

I usually send my tamas to "graduation" (a.k.a.The Matchmaker) after getting the Tamatomo seal but I decided to keep him a little while longer.

Herotchi was glad because he also wanted to stay for a little more while. And thanks to the evening rain, he's having a blissful rest right now after a very long day.

Suppose we visit his mom tomorrow and deliver the good news? She's going to be really happy about it! :D

20120609697.jpg
20120609701.jpg

Herotchi woke up to a blissful Saturday morning, but we discovered that the house was a bit messy due to last night's concert, so before we do anything else, I had him clean up the house. He happily obliged. :D

20120609717.jpg
20120609720.jpg

After cleaning the house, we went outside and got two letters from previously-connected friends!

20120609726.jpg
20120609727.jpg

(Rough translations)

Choribotchi: Are we going to connect again? I'll be waiting.

Nittobotchi: Thanks for playing with me yesterday! I'll bring you a present when I visit you.

It's just weird that after I've read these messages, they did not appear on my mailbox, they just disappeared.

Good thing I took a picture before they went poof!

We haven't been outside town for a while so we boarded a train and visited Furawatchi, who lives in the countryside.

20120609724.jpg

Rough Translation: "Your flower of the day is a Nadeshiko*. You possess great strength and can be #1 in a game without any difficulty."

(Nadeshiko is a pink Japanese wildflower)

There's still more stuff coming as the weekend is not yet over. Stay tuned, everyone! And thanks for reading. :)

We woke up the next day with Herotchi feeling lonely, so he asked me to accompany him to visit his older family members.

He visited his favourite grandfather Sunopotchi and his mother Melodytchi.

20120609704.jpg
20120609705.jpg

Translation: "I'll make you a delicious feast!"

20120609708.jpg
20120609710.jpg

Translation: "Okay, okay, leave it to me."

He spent most of the day outside in the garden in deep thoughts.

20120610729.jpg

Having Herotchi for 7 tama-years, I know that he's been anxious to go out there.

He's been really a great character that I did not want to part with him just yet, but I think it's about time.

20120610730.jpg
20120610732.jpg
20120610734.jpg

Moriritchi has captivated our hero's heart. And with that, he and the pretty Moriritchi gave birth to the second girl in the family!

While my green iD L is "handy", I thought I'd go for Madonnatchi this time.

20120610737.jpg
20120610742.jpg

Herotchi was the character that I've kept the longest so far at 7 tama-years. With that, I thanked him for being a good character and for the fun moments we shared.

He simply smiled and gave me a salute as he leaves me with his baby girl.

Mission Madonnatchi - commence! :D

Howdy, Kajah995! Thanks for tuning in and hope you're enjoying our little tama-shenanigans. :D

Since we are currently operating under Mission Madonnatchi, we will connect her to six different tamas once she becomes a teen.

Choribotchi has showed exceptional talent in performing magic tricks in such a young age!

20120610746.jpg
20120610750.jpg
20120610747.jpg

She evolved into Paletchi after an hour. Nothing much happened throughout the day as I was really busy at work and the only thing we managed to do was to shop for some seeds and have them planted,

20120610757.jpg

Translation: "Hello, welcome to Tama Depa!"

She evolved into a Painaputchi for a teen. I once again brought out the green iD L and performed another set of hatch-connect-reset cycles.

Finally, this will be the last time I am doing this for the next two special Tamatomos are obtained by connecting with the same friend 30 or more times, so there's no need to reset everytime.

I didn't have enough time for pictures because I was handling two iD Ls, sorry! I'll catch up with more pics tomorrow! Hopefully she'd evolve into Madonnatchi! :)

Everyone, please give a warm welcome and a big tama-hug to our new subscriber - webster04!

It's a beautiful and sunny day! Pinaputchi woke up today feeling very excited because the seed she has planted has already grown and is ready to be harvested. So what did she get?

20120612766.jpg
20120612768.jpg
20120612769.jpg

...a pink ice cream! Just exactly what she's craving for on a hot day! She took advantage of the beautiful weather to play outside and practice her newly-acquired magic skills to her neighbours.

We went back inside the house and we noticed that we just overlooked the living room, which happened to have several birthday decorations set up! So today's birthday celebrant is --- a coincidence?

20120612764.jpg
20120612767.jpg

It's Madonnatchi's birthday! Just exactly the character we are aiming for!

Later today, Painaputchi was due for an evolution. And it seemed like our six connections last night has paid off... because...

20120612781.jpg

She has evolved into Madonnatchi herself! Talk about evolution day and birthday in the same day! :D

One of her Happy Items is the ten gallon hat, and she looked great when she put it on --- in fact, she looked exactly like the actual pop icon!

musicvideomadonna.jpg

Not only she likes performing magic tricks, she also has a fondness for curious things --- like the Onsenmoguratchi that she adopted in the park at dusk.

20120612777.jpg

The highlight of the night was we organized a birthday party for her, so she invited the tamas who worked at Tama Marche and she performed live!

She has inherited Herotchi's music prowess!

20120612782.jpg

"Hey. Mr. DJ, put the record on! I wanna dance with my baby!"

The Tama Marche staff highly enjoyed the show! Too bad she had to wrap up early, because the Tama Marche staff works early the next day.

Madonnatchi assured them that they could have a second show anytime they wanted! ;)

When is it going to stop raining!?

20120613786.jpg

To prevent Madonnatchi from getting extremely bored, we decided to take a walk in the park and we had a chat with Madame Kiki:

20120613791.jpg
20120613792.jpg
20120613793.jpg
20120613794.jpg

Rough Translation: "I'm so happy! I was overwhelmed by the large amount of nice items for sale at the Tamamori Shop."

We also stopped by the Tama Cafe to taste their new item on sale, which is the Colourful Candy (a downloaded item). The Eco Fork has been proven completely useful across generations!

20120613795.jpg
20120613797.jpg

The rain is still pouring down but we are forced to go home. Okay, so what do we do?

Madonnatchi recalled last night's performance and she thought that a bit of practice to improve her next performances would be a great idea, so we brought out the boom box and off she went down with the grooves.

20120613798.jpg

I went away for a while to grab a snack when I noticed that the living room has grown silent. So where did she go? I searched around the house and I found her in the dressing room.

What is she up to this time?

20120613800.jpg

SURPRISE!

20120613802.jpg

I couldn't help but break into a giggle fit! It looks like she saw old pictures of Herotchi going crazy with their grandfather's goggles and she'd thought it would be funny as well!

Is it just me or the later generations are becoming wackier?

She'll be due for her fourth Happy Symbol tomorrow; and then it's graduation time. She'll be our 7th Tamatomo, one more to go for Patchi Onsen and the fruit icons.

I don't want to think about it yet, because I'm starting to enjoy her company more. I might as well cherish every second while she's still here.

Before we continue with the adventures, here's a special "guest" appearance by my little Kuriten. He wants to wave and say hi to everyone, particularly to graficks for his kind thoughts and feedback!

20120614807.jpg

While waiting for Madonnatchi's final Happy Symbol, we spent the entire morning socializing in the park.

20120614811.jpg

Guess who we've just met in person? The famous Gotchiman!

20120614808.jpg
20120614809.jpg
20120614810.jpg

Translation: "Ha-ha-ha! How's things going? Do you want my autograph? Of course it's OK! Because Gotchiman is everybody's hero!"

Madonnatchi turned red but she felt happy to be given the chance to meet the famous hero face-to-face! She handed him her hat and asked him to sign on it. A few minutes after Gotchiman left, the production guy ADtchi from the TV station came out calling...

20120614812.jpg
20120614814.jpg
20120614815.jpg

Rough Translation: "Gotchiman, where are you? It's okay, there is nothing to be nervous about! Please come to the production!"

Madonnatchi was amused at the idea on seeing Gotchiman so brave on TV yet he's actually too shy in person.

After a short while, Madonnatchi got her final Happy Symbol and stamped her picture on my Tamatomo notebook.

20120614805.jpg
20120614806.jpg

Graduation time!

And so the inevitable has come. Just like Herotchi, I wanted her to stay a little longer, but she reminded me that she's my 7th Tamatomo and she wants me to unlock Patchi Onsen and the Fruits icon background as soon as I can.

She wanted to head out there, but she promised me that she'll come back once I complete all 32 characters.

I then agreed and took her to the dating place. Now tell me, who can resist Mametchi's charm?

20120614817.jpg
20120614818.jpg
20120614819.jpg

Awww, it just reminded how I missed Mametchi as well! He's definitely going to make a come-back in my iD L...

After they got married, Madonnatchi gave birth to the third girl in the family line!

20120614821.jpg
20120614823.jpg

Since it's a girl, I'm thinking of getting Giragiratchi next! It's no longer as hard as getting Herotchi/Madonnatchi since it only requires 30+ connections to a single friend. No need to keep on resetting!

Mission Giragiratchi --- START!

It was a gruelling hour of care for Madonnatchi's newborn...

20120614825.jpg
20120614826.jpg
20120614828.jpg

"Ichiro!"

Luckily we have survived that hour and after getting two Paletchis for toddlers...

20120614830.jpg
20120614831.jpg

Kingyobotchi! It's the first time I had this toddler. She's so cute! :D

If the previous generations had a knack for music during their toddler years, it looks like this one's going to be the next Iron Chef!

She prepared some fruit shake before she went to bed for me. Aw, that is so sweet! :)

My Kuriten has evolved into Futagotenshi (Twin Angels)! They're making a double-wave to kuchipatchi.is.blue55! Thanks for your encouraging feedback! Have fun on your upcoming 15th Anniversary iD L :)

20120615840.jpg

Going back to the iD L, she evolved into Painaputchi the next day.

She then started to befriend her neighbour Kaubotchi to be able to transform into Giragiratchi.

Kaubotchi visited her and they took a picture together :D

20120616846.jpg
20120616852.jpg

20120616853.jpg
20120616854.jpg

Translation: "Ichiro / Akio"

Kaubotchi had to leave sooner, though. He's only a toddler and his parent (also me :p ) forbids him to stay outside for long. I'm planning to make him evolve into Mametchi, maybe that's why I'm being a bit over-protective for the little guy.

To compensate the boredom, we went for a stroll in the park (and boo, it's raining again!). We came across ADtchi again. He seems to be pretty busy lately!

20120616848.jpg
20120616849.jpg
20120616850.jpg

(Very rough) Translation: "Good day! Now I am off to a hundred meetings! We'll be discussing matters about bringing food (packed lunch) on the construction of the filming set."

...and finally!

20120616861.jpg

I thought my batteries would give up on her. 30 times connecting will surely drain them! She immediately ran to her room and started rummaging through her parents' old toys and she showed me this:

20120616857.jpg

Wow, that is indeed pretty, but isn't it a little too early for that? :p

I've been getting really nice messages from everyone lately! It's very overwhelming! Thank you very much, guys!

Hello, webster04! It's great to know that you and your Gen2 is enjoying my little "reality show". Please keep tuning in and I'll make sure that no fun moment gets missed "on-cam". :D

If I'm not mistaken, Giragiratchi is known as a fashionista and has a weak spot for haute couture. It was a good thing that her predecessors know a lot about saving, because they might have predicted that this day will come!

We simply spent the day splurging around (aw, my poor bank account) despite the never-ending rainy season.

First off we went to the Gotchi Interior Shop and we had the living room remodeled into resemble Paris, the fashion capital!

20120616862.jpg

Neat, isn't it?

Next stop: Tama Depa.I was preparing to brace our budget for impact, but I was surprised that she did not find anything. That's weird. But she did had quite eyed a few things on the Tamamori Shop.

But she still did not purchase anything. I'm starting to scratch my head when I saw her in deep thoughts --- then from a whim of the moment she glanced into her watch and she had this "Eureka!" moment and dragged me to the park... but why?

Translation: "It's time for the Flea Market!"

Only then she was able to grab a one-piece outfit that suits her. Not only it looks as good as the ones in the high-end shops, but it's much less expensive! I'm impressed with Giragiratchi's talent for looks and value.

After she's done with her shopping, we stopped at the restaurant and the cafe for a meal to rest.

After resting after a very hectic day, we got home and she tried out her newly-bought clothes.

"How do I look? Can you believe I just grabbed this off a flea market!"

Hands-down to Giragiratchi! We closed the very busy and tiring day with a warm bath.

Giragiratchi woke up early today in preparation for her fourth Happy Symbol. She went for a quick bath, and then she started around dancing with her four seals; and with that came her stamp.

"Yo! Would you like to take a dip in the hot springs?"

For those who do now know, the guy charges GP 100 for a dip. But it's worth it, nothing beats taking a warm bath in nature!

And together with the Patchi Onsen came another surprise!

"You've got a new care-mark design!"

I like the new fruit icons! It feels like I'm using a brand-new Tama because it just looks and feels different! :)

And now, it's graduation time...

(stand by for part 2)
