Rare Items (without cheating)

I really want to get rare items on my Tamagotchi familitchi V5, but how? I don't want to cheat! e.g. just googling to get the password

I believe you have to play games and other things on the V5 TamaTown.

^^^ Yup. That's it. I just don't know why you won't google the password... I usually don't like to, but sometimes it's just easiest.
