You can feed it, "talk" to it, make it change personalities, make it dance and stuff like that.

I would guess, in the future, its possible Furby may get an update through the Wifi/App feature... Maybe a code word could unlock Furby we don't know about yet. Even if its just in the App, the App might get an update of a game or two to play with your Furby. I know some people don't have something the App can be on though.
I am hoping they have a DS game to interact with Furby. (or another game system too) since the Furby use sound and quiet sound waves to hear the App running. Sounds like a little churping sound to me. I can hear it but other people around me can not. It would be a bit easier for a person without a Smart Something to use.

I really, really want this new Furby! My parents are super against it for some reason.
I've been begging for days and they keep saying it has no practical use.
A lot of things have no practical use, even one could say Tamas don't. And yet people are out there, buying super expensive cars, expensive homes, yachts, etc, and for what? Oh it's not really super practical, they just want it. Better example would be collecting things like war memorabilia--what's the point? To show it off or other reasons. Is it practical? Nope!
I almost got one, they had an all black one at Target. But 60 bucks, eesh.... I'd rather get something else for that price to be honest. We still have our Furby, Furby Baby, and also a Gizmo, too. Thing is, can the new Furbys talk to the old ones or Gizmo?
Also, i don't think the new ones are as cute--the ears aren't fluffy anymore.

as for them not being practical.....of course they're not, neither are tama's! things like this are fun and purely for entertainment, besides, money is for spending.....so go crazy i say

EDIT: My favorite party rocker is the pink one. Does anyone else think that the pink one looks a lot like fluttershy from MLP: FiM?

I used this argument as well, but my parents continue to say no. I guess they are more afraid that if they buy it, I'll only use it for a day or something and abandon it. They've bought me some pretty expensive Tamas before so I don't really see why they are against it now. Maybe they are just shocked by how much they cost. Whatever, I guess. I suppose their arguments are valid.

But it's a nice feature that each generation does something different!

Actually, the party rockers are these: http://furby2012blog...png?w=300&h=258 (Check http://see.walmart.com/furby for a better picture.)Wait a minute... The ones with the hair top, they are the party rockers? If so... We have those all over the place here. I like the auqa/pink one... But I thought those were more of the first release. They pulled a fast one on me? As much as I love Furby, weird...
On Walmart.com it shows the regular furbies and the party rockers both at $54.Sigh... I really want a party rocker, but not only they are FOR NOW waay more expensive than the the normal ones, I don't think my mom will agree on me getting one. Heck. she already promised me P's anyway for no particular reason, so I don't think I should hope for any 2012 furby soon.
But it's a nice feature that each generation does something different!
