Hi, I recently bought a new iD L on ebay so my current one had a friend.

According to the Japan Post mailing site, it was in Posting/Collection on August 2nd

Then it arrived and was dispatched from the outward office of exchange on the 3rd early morning.

Soon it was available on the USPS website that usually means its in the US, at least from the rumors i heard.

I've been tracking it on the USPS website though and all I've gotten is:

Although it says registered mail, the tracking number implies that it was sent via EMS since it followed the usual number-letter format.

the shipping number is: RR749096958JP

I even called USPS to see if there were just website delays, but they say everything's up to date.

That just means it's in the mail, you've got nothing to worry about. Depending on where you live, it may be here in a few days.

Its just the first tama i ordered from Japan came in four days, three if you exclude posting.

Sometimes the tracking information of packages get delayed. Just keep in mind that they are processing about a thousand packages (or more) in a day.
It will eventually get updated and you'll receive it, you just have to be patient enough. (I know you're excited though!)

XD Super excited! I know I'm a little old for Tamas but they're so much fun and a good way to spend time where you literally have nothing to do lol.

Don't worry about it, your tama will be here in a day or so, and you'lee be happily hearing beeps.

When it arrives in the USA... Usually customs has it. Sometimes they take longer then usual. It also depends on which customs it comes through... Like Chicago, New York.... Etc. If mine take longer then usual... I normally find it was in Chicago and its a really busy place.

Registered usually takes a week... Maybe a week and a half. EMS can take up to a week...

Don't worry, you'll get it sooner or later !! I live in Belgium and a few weeks ago I ordered a blue tama-go from Canada.
It took 2 - 3 weeks to get here and I got a tracking number as well. I always saw this when I looked it up: Order information received by Canada Post.
So it wasn't even shipped yet, if I had to believe them..... When I finally got it, I looked it up again and it still said the same irritating thing....
So the post can also just be lazy with updating about your item, really don't worry !!!

I have to agree. Often packages can take forrrreevvvveerrrr.

I recently bought some ear studs online, and they took over a month to arrive. I thought I was being ripped off, but eventually they arrived. I feel your pain. Once it took around a month for my Nano Puppy to arrive too. The suspense almost kills you xD

Hah my tamagotchi Nano i ordered from Jason's store came in before the registered mail XD this wasnt supposed to arrive until the 15th and I ordered it on July 28th

Packages often take longer if they are shipped from outside your country. I ordered something from Japan and nope it never came. So the seller had to refund the money back. I only ordered 2 things from outside country - and nope, they never came. Luckilly all the Tamagotchis I ordered were in my country

I've got a package in the mail, I ordered it one week ago and it was meant to be for my birthday, which is tomorrow, but it probably won't arrive in time. I used SAL shipping. The other times I ordered stuff, it arrived in only 5 days, but that was with EMS. I live in Australia so that's probably why it takes quicker. I think I'll check the status of my order...
I don't get a tracking number but it says my order was shipped on August 10th, so it probably will come late... >____< I understand how you feel. I'm dying of suspense, lol I hope your order comes soon!

Waiting can be hard. Everyday that passes you'll be thinking "WHY ISN'T IT HERE YET?" I'm an impatient person, but sometimes distracting yourself can help!

5 days isn't really nothing for a package. I live in NJ, and i've had my iD L stuck in NYC for 12 days. So dont be as worried if your package doesnt arrive as fast. Smaller the package, the longer it will take.

Hey Ashashichi,

1) I just ordered an iDL from Amazon. The carrier is Japan Post. You mentioned that you tracked yours down on the USPS website. How did you track it down? Cause they ask for the label/ receipt number. But I couldn't find anything but the order number on the Amazon site.
2) And also, on the Japan Post website, they told me to enter my item number. I entered the order number (cause that's the only number i could find), but they said that is incorrect.
3) Can you tell me how did you track yours down?
4) Did you use the order number or was it another number besides that?
