I just saw this on amazon and I was wondering if anyone ever used this one and if it would work to download ID L stuff?

You should look up the specs and make sure it's drivers are compatible with the operating system on your computer, if it is then it should work.

This is the one that I believe most people on the forum use: http://www.ebay.com/...=item2ebccac443

People say it's tricky to get it to work on windows 7 but my boyfriend was able to set it up for me after toying around with it.

Yup, I've got that exact one. I'm currently having trouble getting it to work, but I know I'm just doing something wrong and it'll get cleared up. Syba USB Fast Infrared Adapter is likely better than the one usually used, but it's a little more expensive. The good news is that it doesn't ship from Hong Kong. I run Windows Vista, by the way. I've managed to download with this adapter before.
