So, I just got my tamagotchi iDL a few days ago, and I know you need an infrared usb port (?) but the thing is, I'm downloading the stuff from gotchiworld.de, and theres a tab with iDL and iD stuffs. I'm not sure whether to download both or just for the iDL? Like does the stuff for iD work for iDL? Please reply, thank you!!

THIS TOPIC may give you more insight to your question, but I believe there are MANY more ID L downloads available over ID downloads. I don't think you'd miss much by just downloading ID L related files.

The stuff for iD L only works for the iD L models, and same goes with the iD.

If you're worried about finding something interesting but is in the iD format, then don't fret - Bandai has ported many iD downloads into the iD L format as well.
