Indeed it is a V4; you can tell by the sphere on the aerial. It looks like it has its charm missing, but it's a cool shell design.

There's a small chance it can be v4.5. Some european designs of v4.5's had a ball instead of star.

Jhud's right. After the initial release of the V4.5 (with Star antenna) in the UK, I saw at least one wave of designs released afterwards that were definitely V4.5 but had the ball antenna like the V4.
This was at the height of the re-launch and there were a lot of different shell designs on the market.

It's a v4. 
I live in Sweden, and it's true some v4,5's has a ball instead of star, but, this one is defineatly a v4.
How do I know? I've got one of those myself
