It's all in the title. Do you think there ever will be? Don't get me wrong, I love the color screen tamagotchis and all, and I've been hoping that they'd make one since I was 5, but they just don't seem like all they're cracked up to be. They're MAD expensive compared to the older versions without color, not to mention the shipping because we have to order them from Asia.I sometimes like how advanced they are, but at other times, it's nice to pick up my V3 or V4, because they can be fun too. What do you guys think? Do you want Bandai to stop with the color screens for just a little while and maybe make a few of the old, pixely, black and white ones?

It's nice to keep our hopes up, but I don't think so. Bandai Japan's Colour Models are becoming really popular - so it would be silly to go back to Non-Colour Models. As DJYellow22 said, if there was going to be a Non-Colour Tamagotchi, it would probably be made by Bandai America.

Yes. I consider the Precure commune toys as a tama-cousin. They are a Bandai Japan product. Still released in Black and White. Then again, anything Precure seems to do well in Japan... Regardless its color or not. That much color would probably fry the screen. Lol.

America... I would guess more greyscale. Atleast one before they jump ship or create a color.

Do you think there will ever be another non-color television? Do you think there will ever be another DOS computer? You see, once stuff progresses it seldom goes back to old-fashioned. Color Tamagotchis are expensive, but releasing another black-and-white one won't do Bandai Japan any good. However, there are still Tamagotchi electronic toys with black and white pixel screens...Tama Profy, Himespe Phone, and soon to be released Yume Kira Bags, but they aren't quite virtual pets. Bandai Japan is going to make more shell designs of the Nano soon, so maybe black and white screens aren't gone just yet?

I dont think they'll be releasing anymore tamas in america for a while I emailed Bandai America twice once about a month ago and again early last week and no reply. And everything seems inactive on the tama area of the site....seems like they are closing up shop for tamas =(

I won't give up hope on American Tamagotchis until after Toy Fair next year. If Toy Fair comes and goes with no information on new American Tamagotchis then and only then will I believe Tamagotchi is dead in America.

That said, I do think Black and White Tamagotchis may be a thing of the past unless the Vintage Tamas are re-released to cash in on nostalgia.
