I'm not new to Tamagotchi pets, but I never really found a time in my time playing with a V6 to use the praise option.
When should I praise my V6 and why?

if your gotchi is a bit stressed, a bit of praise and a toy play time will calm them down as will games. After they practice on their own or of your accord, or after a gig. Praise calms them down. Use it often.

So praise is best used when it has a lot of stress or does good deeds, like after a practice or a gig
