help!! i just recieved a used p1 in the mail and when i turned it on the first button doesnt work, the other two do work tho. any ideas on whats going on?

I'd guess there's something wrong with the contact.
If you have a set of the correct screw drivers, I'd open the Tama up and check where the buttons touch the circuit board to make sure it's nice and clean. If that doesn't solve it, and you're sure that the button is pressing down correctly, then there's something wrong with the circuit board and the button is basically toast D:

Use some contact cleaner on the circuit board and the buttons, had to do this with my used p1 tama and it fixed the problem.

Ah, my P2 is like that...I'm not sure if it's normal, but the buttons are REALLY hard to press. I have to have long fingernails to press them properly, but you might want to try with something like a pencil.
