How do I change the background for the icons? I've seen people with different icons and I'd like something else as the trees and houses seem ugly to me.

Also when you plant something is there anything you have to do with it to make it grow or does it just grow on its own?

To unlock more icon themes, you have to unlock new destinations by collecting all four Happy Stamps for each character you get. The first destination that unlocks an icon theme is Patchi Falls, which you unlock by getting 10 or 12 or...um...I forget...Tama-Friend characters.

As for plants, once you plant the seed, check it the next day and it will grow into a secret item. But sometimes the plant will just shrivel or grow a caterpillar! You never know what you might get.
