New to the site and in need of advice

So I just happened to stumble upon this site so I hope it's still active.

When I was younger I had 4 or 5 tamagotchies and I always kept them all going. I recently stumbled upon watch batteries buy one get one 50% and I figured to myself well I needed one for my pokewalker might as well get one for my tamagotchi. So here I am.

I already love the stupid thing with all my heart so much so that I want more But after v4.5 (I believe the one I have now) I lost track of what came next and what each does and what version. It was simple back when you were upgrading from 2 to 3 but now you have music star and I remember there was one about a family tree? Anyway if someone has a guide to which versions do what or whats newer or better that would be awesome. A guide or just some tips cause i'm really lost with what tamas have become

tamagotchi v5 and v5.5 is when you raise a family. you start off with 3 eggs instead of 1. the v5.5 is when you raise a family but some outcomes are differnt like you get a tamagotchi celbrity or a royal family.

Tamatown tama-go was the last ever bandai america release. it was a huge flop.

you had to buy figures to get extra games and it was a pretty huge device,

Tamagotchi + color, Tamagotchi ID andTamagotchi IDL were all made in japan and were'nt available to america. so if you want one online is your only chance.

they are all in japanese. excaept the newest edition which has an english menu, called the (tamagotchi IDL-E)

With the tamagotchi id and idl you were abel to download food,items,games, and even your own wallpapers to your tamagotchi via infrared.

there was also some special colors and versions with new characters, for idl it was the "princess spacy" version and for the Id it was " lovely melody" which one was pink and one was purple, they introduce lovletvhi and melody 2 new characters.

for the tamagotchi + color the special one was a hexagon. I dont know much about it but they were red and white.

wow things have changed! will the links outline the major differenced between v5 and v6? Do you have either of them? If so which do you prefer/ think is better/ want?

I'm glad this place is active I can't believe I found a site like this! I'm so bad with obsessing over kids stuff XP I still play neopets too...

v5 is when you raise a family

v6 you raise a music star and form a band and go on tour they are nothing a like.

I quit playing tamagotchi back when they v4.5 came out so im still a little cluless as I havent played a v4.5,v5 or a v5.5/

I got back into them when the music star (v6) came out. and I've only ever had 1 japanese on which was the tamagotchi + c ( TMGC+C)

which is my second favorite appose to V2

you this sites been up for over 8 years now, it's the #1 tamagotchi forum/community.

This place is booming with activity so there's a good chance you'll get lots of help from people
