My BF is some how convinced his white IDL is different from my green IDL, he says the buttons are wearing out faster and the game lags....is there any basis for his thinking?
I think he read it somewhere but I dont see how the white could be worse than any other, they're all the same game...

I have a white iD L and it's pretty much the same as my 15th anniversary or my green iD L.
I believe they are from the same production line and there should be no reason for one variant of the product to be very different from the other one with the exception of the shell colours.
On the insides, they have the very same compartments, chipsets, buttons and even the software.

By any chance would the white ID-L be in english?
There are English (HK) versions for all six colours.

Maybe your friend uses his white iD L a lot and has just worn it out a bit?

There are a lot of rumors that white english iD L's are badly made. Like, with your BF I heard three people complaining on that.
