I was wondering how I can get more toys?
My current Tama does not like any of the ones I currently have, so it's kind of hard to keep her happy.
I'm on gen 2. My gen 1 was a male and all the toys I have are for boys.
I haven't found any toys in the shop (besides ones that belong in the special catergory)
How often does one accuire a new toy and insterment?

we use to get them from tama town but tama town no longer works..

Unfortunately, with Tama Town being down, the only way to get more toys/instruments is collecting them through the generations, or at the beginning of your first generation by following these steps (though this could technically be considered "cheating"):
1. Start up your Tama.
2. Wait until your egg hatches.
3. DO NOT NAME YOUR TAMA. Instead, press the reset button on the back.
4. Click "DOWNLOAD".
5. Repeat until you have all the instruments/toys that you want.
6. When you are satisfied, finally name your Tama and have fun with your new plethora of choices.
I figured this one out the first time I ever started up a Music Star. Though it's more challenging if you just let things run naturally.
Up to you.
