So... what meal do you and your family traditionally eat on 25th December? I know not everyone celebrates Christmas, but even so - are there traditional meals you always eat on this day of the year?
My family eat a lunch of
Roast Turkey & Stuffing
Chipolata sausages wrapped in bacon
Bread sauce
Cranberry sauce
Gravy
Roast potatoes
Roast parsnips
Brussel sprouts
Carrots
Peas
Christmas pudding (steamed plum pudding)
Mince Pies
Cream
Brandy butter

Hmm, I like this topic! FOOD! xDD
We're having a ham this year...
Mashed potatoes
Some weird mix of marshmallows and fruit that's actually extremely delicious
Apple sauce
Salad
Baked potatoes
Chocolate cream pie with EXTRA WHIPPED CREAM (for me xDDD)
That's all I can think of right now. Yummy!

And for dessert we had Pavlova and Ice Cream + Jelly!

I meant to reply earlier
typically we eat a very traditional meal in the US (possible elsewhere) of Ham or Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, cranberry, gravy, green beans or sweet potatoes, corn, and then lots of pies (pecan, pumpkin, chocolate etc...).
This year we ended up having a Christmas pizza haha...because my son was sick and we couldn't go visit family since he was still contagious. So all our plans kind of went down the drain and it was too late to go out and buy stuff to make a traditional Christmas dinner so pizza it was. We made them by hand though and they turned out really good and we had a laugh over the whole thing and really just enjoyed it. I didn't miss the heavy traditional meal at all
